Who has time for acting when there is shopping to do?  Lindsay Lohan gets her shop on in SoHo while her mom Dina takes a cigarette break.

Now Lindsay can career shop as she has been named style consultant for French design house Emanuel Ungaro.  And, believe it or not, their’s drama in fashion.  Shocking I know.  Seems her predecessor Esteban Cortazar was reportedly furious about having Lindsay Lohan associated with the luxurious brand.

Unphased, Lindsay tells WWD.com:

“To be in a position where I’m working with a fashion house in Paris sets it apart from every other celebrity brand.”

Yes.  Nothing like a veiled (or not-so-veiled) catty dig toward your fellow celebrities who have a fashion line that just doesn’t quite measure up to what you are doing. 

And the fashion house’s CEO Mounir Moufarrige is equally delighted:

“Everything we’re going to get is going to be a plus. I think the noise level around Lindsay will be very, very big.”

Lindsay herself  is expected to launch a full range of clothes within the next two years to compliment her legging line.
