The Bachelorette’s Reid Rosenthal On Where Magazine

When I first saw his picture I thought to myself ‘I know him’ but couldn’t for the life of me figure out from where. And then I read that it’s Reid Rosenthal from The Bachelorette!!
I do wonder if Jillian Harris didn’t choose him because he didn’t tell her what she wanted to hear in terms of her insanely unreasonable timeline of falling in love and getting engaged. She just seemed so bent on that timeframe and getting a ring.
I think Reid was realistic and honest but most of all sincere. I don’t know that I believe Ed Swiderski is all that sincere.
Reid was honoured with a party thrown for him for his cover of Where Magazine in Philadelphia.

I never heard jilly say that she had a time line. She chose who she wanted. I remember clearly that Ed left, came back and she chose him. The question is, can Reid ever commit. You don’t want to be with somebody who is not sure of what he wants. He is a very nice person, but I guess it wasn’t meant to be. as for the jillian comment above, I think it is wrong and unfair of you to assassinate her character like that. Even Reid will not agree with you.
Perhaps we weren’t watching the same show. She indicated she wanted to be engaged by the end of the show. That’s time line, yes?

We could go round and round in circles about Jill wanting to be engaged at the end of the show and who she eventually chose. Bottom line here is that she chose the man she was in love with and who was in love with her. That person was Ed, not Reid.
I am sure Reid is a nice guy. He just was not the one for Jill.
I also think Reid is well aware of that fact and it is his fans that need a reality check!
Jillian chose Ed bec. she is inlove with him, not bec. he is the perfect,total package guy,otherwise she could have chosen Kiptyn or Reid. She knew Ed is the one, so we shd not keep insisting that she shd have chosen Reid. I did not see any chance she would pick Reid in the end bec. he can’t even express his feelings. I knew that Ed will be the last one standing bec. they really are perfect for each other. Reid is a total package as Jillian said, but he is not the one for her. Ed is the man and I know Ed will take care of her and make her happy. They are meant for each other.

Well given the happy couple have pulled back on their overly ambitious wedding timeline, they are starting to sound like oh Reid, a voice of sanity. Even Jillian is admitting her father is telling the happy couple to take it month by month.
Bottomline is Jillian and more importantly the producers wanted a guaranteed proposal and engagement.
Ed was the only one offering up the goods for sure as no doubt the producers coached him to say all the right things.
Jillian was so totally cross examining every guy to make sure she was getting a proposal and engagement ring before the finale.
Be careful what you wish for. But in retrospect, Reid is a classy guy, the total and solid package as Jillian would say and the other women of the world are more than happy for Jillian to take Ed, please, and leave Reid available.

What is dramatic is the way you tried to assassinate her character. Go back and read what was written, then see if I am mistaken. You sounded too harsh as if you have a deep sitted grudge or hatred or something. If she had chosen Reid would would you then say she is INSANELY, UNREASONABLY HELL BENT on her time line/time frame for a ring I wonder, or is it because she didn’t choose Reid. Praise Reid if you have to, but don’t Jill down because she didn’t choose who you wanted. It is just too obvious.

Reid couldn’t get hold of his mommy to ask her if he should fall in love so of course Jillian went with the man who could make decisions on his own and who was crazy about her.
Reid wasn’t madly in love so of course he hesitated. Ed was and Jilly fell in love with the man who was open and honest and emotionally available. She said herself that it wasn’t a contest, it was Ed or no one. Be happy for her. She has found the love of her life and is thrilled with how things are working out.
