E!’s Marc Malkin broke the news of the split between Dancing With The Star’s Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff and when they caught up with Maksim he says of the split:

“It’s a little rough right now,”

I feel bad for him, he looks so sad.  What is the moral of this story single people?  Never date someone you work with.  Imagine having to see the person all the time after you have split up?  That’s gotta hurt.

Kim Kardashian is seen at the Beverly Hills Nail Design where she gets a pedi and a mani (heavenly).

And as she promised (because I’m keeping track) she has returned to her dark tresses in time for Fall.  I was just getting used to her having blond hair, but I think I like this better.  Which do you prefer on her?  Or do you really care?

George Clooney debuted his latest lady, Elisabetta Canalis at the Venice Film Festival during the premiere of his movie ‘The Men Who Stare At Goats’.

They make such a lovely couple, no?  Later this week George is expected to attend the Toronto International Film Festival for that movie as well as his Up in the Air debut. 

Something tells me George should attend the Sunday premiere of ‘Up in the Air’ and it has absolutely nothing to do with the fact I have tickets to that showing.  I swear.  To be in the same room as him would be heavenly.

One of my favourite couples, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman take in the U.S. Open watching the match between Serena Williams and Flavia Pennetta.

Do you see these two?  It looks like they are still on their honeymoon, they look so happy.   I guess they pretty much are still on their honeymoon considering they just celebrated their 3rd wedding anniversary.

Can you say awkward?  George Clooney was at his ‘The Men Who Stare At Goats’ press conference in Venice when a male reporter professed his love to George and proceeded to take his clothes off saying:

I am gay, George, and I think I am in love with you…Please take me,” the dude said, stripping down to his underwear. “May I kiss you, please. Just one kiss?”

I think the reporter needs to brush up on his research skills given that it is well known George isn’t, um,  gay.
