We, of course, have seen Sarah Jessica Parker filming Sex and the City 2, as well as Chris Noth and Kim Cattrall.  And now we see Carrie’s best friend Miranda Hobbes makeing the scene.  All that’s left is Kristen Davis of the regulars!!

Seeing these pictures reminds me of just how much I loved that show.   I know a while back I offered to sell my mother to have Vanna White’s  job (and she’s actually inquired as to whether there were any takers, she looked so sad when I told her not a one).  But to have this show come back as a regular series?  I would sell my mother and throw in a kidney.

I put this picture as the main one, not because I’m a fan of Kristin Cavallari (puleez) but because of her little dog Toto.  I really don’t know the dog’s name, but it’s Toto to me.

The Hills are alive on Malibu Beach where they can all sun themselves while stabbing each other in the back.  I really don’t know if they do that (although I think it’s a good guess) because I don’t watch the show, but I know they have fans who do so this is for you.  It’s Friday before a long weekend and I’m feeling generous.

Before heading home after her concert in Israel, Madonna took a helicopter to visit  the ancient “Rose” city of Petra in Jordan.  The city is known for it’s rock cut architecture and is currently considered one of the new  Seven Wonders of the World.  It really is incredible.  I found a site of a traveller who shared their pictures here.

The brief (15 minute) visit was accompanied by Jordanian security and an armed bodyguard that had been arranged by Queen Rania, the wife of the country’s King Abdullah II.

Michael Jackson’s family and celebrity friends gathered to finally lay the King of Pop to rest yesterday.  Elizabeth Taylor, Quincy Jones, Mila Kunis, Maccaulay Culkin, Chris Tucker and others said goodbye at The Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California.

His backup dancers served as ushers and his brothers wore a black armband and sequined glove to honour their brother.  Michael’s three children placed a crown on his coffin to mark his status as the King of Pop.

Let me start this post by saying I love Jessica Simpson.  She seems ‘real’ in the sense she is down-to-earth, sweet, and appears to be genuinely nice.

I am not loving how stiff she looks on this runway in some of these pictures at the Salon du Pret A Porter at the Porte de Versailles – Ozlem Suer catwalk show in Paris, France . 

I’m going with she is nervous or perhaps exhausted from carrying that beehive, Bride of Frankenstein hairdo that I will not believe she had anything to do with, because my Jessica knows better.  She is forgiven.
