The Nicole Richie Accident Scene

As reported earlier, Nicole Richie and her mother (I didn’t include that fact) were rear-ended by a couple of paparazzo’s while driving in Beverly Hills. Nicole was complaining of pain (although it’s uncertain if she went to the hospital) and the driver was arrested for driving without a license which is considered a misdemeanor.

Here are pictures of the scene which shows the papper being escorted to the pokey and the police investigating the scene.

David Letterman Apologizes Publicly To His Wife

David Letterman has publicly acknowledged how his indiscretions have hurt his wife Regina Lasko during his show that was taped Monday afternoon:

“She has been horribly hurt by my behavior, and when something happens like that, if you hurt a person and it’s your responsibility, you try to fix it,” he said during his opening monologue. “At that point, there’s only two things that can happen: Either you’re going to make some progress and get it fixed, or you’re going to fall short and perhaps not get it fixed, so let me tell you folks, I got my work cut out for me.”

He also went on to acknowledge how he also hurt the staff by his actions:

“I’m terribly sorry that I put the staff in that position. Inadvertently, I just wasn’t thinking ahead,” he said. “And, moreover, the staff here has been wonderfully supportive to me, not just through this furor, but through all the years that we’ve been on television and especially all the years here at CBS, so, again, my thanks to the staff for, once again, putting up with something stupid I’ve gotten myself involved in.”

Nicole Richie In Car Accident

TMZ is reporting that Nicole Richie was driving and hit from behind by a papparazzi. Lt. Tony Lee of the Beverly Hills Police Department confirmed to People:

“Ms. Richie was driving with a passenger around 2 p.m. when she was struck by two photographers driving in one vehicle behind her,” ”She complained of pain … Her car sustained moderate damage. No paramedics were called to the scene.”

“She told officers she was going to seek her own medical treatment, so it’s unknown if she’s headed to a hospital or not.”

The driver that hit her was charged without having a license.

Thank goodness the kids were not in the car. Two pappers behind her hitting her car sounds, to me, a little too intentional. Getting a celebrity shot does not need to endanger that person’s health or life. I really hope Nicole is okay.

Halle Berry & Nahla Visit Friends

The genetically gifted Halle Berry and her equally genetically gifted daughter Nahla are seen out in Los Angeles visiting friends.

I think it’s high time we saw Halle Berry in a movie, don’t you? She filmed a movie called Frankie and Alice that sounds fabulous:

A drama centered on a young woman with multiple personality disorder who struggles to remain her true self and not give in to her racist alter-personality

I can’t seem to find anything on a release date and I believe Halle Berry also served as a producer on the movie. I can totally see her rocking that performance!
