Monty Python Celebrates 40 Years

It is hard to believe that it’s been 40 years since Monty Python was first on the scene. Eric Idle, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Terry Jones, Michael Palin celebrated in New York (the original group included the late Graham Chapman).
The British Troupe were honoured with a special award for its contribution to film and television. John Cleese joked about his award:
“If you want to get a better view, this will be on eBay tomorrow,”
The presentation was followed by a new documentary “Monty Python: Almost the Truth (The Lawyer’s Cut).”
Based on the facial expressions of some of the members, I’d say this group hasn’t lost their mojo one bit!
