Every time I read about, or see a story about the lovefest between Katy Perry and Russell Brand, a little part of me dies inside.

I keep hearing that ‘it won’t last’ and that it’s only a matter of time before his eyeballs start roving.  But what if it does last?  What if this is it?   What then??  They say true love is unselfish and that you should only want someone to be happy.  I say bitch please!!

Russell accompanied Katy to her 25th birthday party where it looks like a wild time was had by all.  I think Russell looked a little reserved.  Pics here, here and here.

Are The Hills reality or scripted?  Who cares, I say.  And I say this because of the kick-ass fierce boots that Heidi Montag is wearing.    I can forgive the series for scripting it and saying it’s reality if in fact they do that, just because of those boots.  And she just did a Twitpic of some new Fall boots that I freakin love.   This is why Fall fashion is everything.

Heidi and Audrina Partridge talk outside of a restaurant while filming the show.  It looks like Heidi is taking a ticket from her vehicle when she returns, but I can’t be sure.

This just proves my point that we, as women, are WAY too hard on ourselves.  If Salma Hayek doesn’t feel sexy what is wrong with this world?  Salma says it’s not her body that is great but she dresses it properly!

“I won a ‘Best Body Award’ from Fitness Magazine and I was too embarrassed to accept it. I actually don’t have a good body, but if everybody thinks so, I guess it means I’m a good actress. I have acted the part of the girl who has a very good body. If you know how to dress, there’s some tricks you can pull.”

We need to be a little more accepting of ourselves I think.  How she can not stare at herself in the mirror naked for hours I just don’t understand.  I would never leave my house.   

Salma thinks the fashion world has a little too much say in what is considered attractive:

“What do we call ugly now? It’s anybody that is not super-skinny and really tall. Some people think they’re ugly just because they don’t reach that standard. I personally have seen a lot of really skinny tall models that maybe I think are ugly and they need to eat a little to look healthy.”

While some women are naturally super-skinny, I think women spend too much time depriving themselves and obsessing about thinness.  We are all guilty of it.   This madness needs to stop.  What say we all have a donut today?

The environmentally conscious celebrities came out last night for the Environmental Media Awards held at Paramount Studios in Hollywood. 

Sir Richard Branson and Jason Mraz were honoured as were Centropolis Entertainment and National Geographic Society.   My spidey senses tell me that burning all the styrofoam yesterday was wrong.  Kidding!! Please don’t send emails.
