Lost’s Evangeline Lilly is perfectly happy to be on her own, thank you very much:

“I have been a loner since I was 12 years old, so I’ve never been social. My social life is very limited, but that’s how I want it. My personal life has never been very exciting or interesting.”

Is it a curse, or a blessing?

“I’m fine with being solitary. On an average work day, I get up in the morning, I go to work, I come home, I make myself dinner, I sit down and go through my bills, and then I go to bed. And if I have a day off, I spend all day running errands and checking emails. I’m never hanging out with people.  “It’s a real struggle for me. I’m very independent and I do well on my own. I’m always on my own and I don’t get lonely. I love it.” 

There is less drama when you are a loner that’s for sure.  But she is open to change:

“It’s been my goal to socialise more this year, because I’m the ultimate geek when it comes to socialising!”

I can totally relate to this.  I’m much better one on one or alone and I’m perfectly happy.  In my basement. 

So will being a loner be a problem should she settle down with on-again, off-again co-star and boyfriend Dominic Monaghan or does she have bigger issues:

“I have such a huge capacity for love. I have always had a really hard time not loving people. I can meet a complete stranger and feel love for them. So for me, I can imagine loving two different people – but I don’t think I have the capacity for that because it would require so much of me. Everyone else seems to believe it is possible, so who am I to question this? If everyone says you can love two people, then you can love two people.”

She even tested her ‘loving two people’ theory on her Lost castmates:

“I actually went around the set and interviewed people saying things like, ‘Do you think it’s possible to truly, genuinely love two different people or does that deny the reality of what love is supposed to be? Is that negating what true love is all about?’ And unanimously I’ve had people say, No, I do believe you can genuinely be in love with two different people at the same time.”

Lingerie group La Senza has hired Tess Daly for their Christmas Ad Campaign.  She is the new ‘Face’ of La Senza’s ‘Steal the Show’ campaign.

I’d say she’s done a great job, yes?

Forget Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s bodyguard’s explosive book.  Which btw, has anyone seen that guy?  He seems to have faded into obscurity. 

But ‘heavily-sourced’ investigative journalist Ian Halperin, who is the man behind best-selling Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson, will be blowing the lid off of Brad and Angelina December 1 when Brangelina Exposed hits the shelves.

The book will divulge the ‘real reason’ for Brad Pitt’s split with Jennifer Aniston.  As if his affair with Angelina Jolie isn’t enough,  I can’t imagine the ‘real reason’!

The press release states the book will talk about how Brangelina:

“have successfully manipulated the public into believing a glamorous fairytale that bears little resemblance to the reality of the pair’s life together,”

and that

“Jolie’s personal lifestyle choices are not only affecting her growing family,” “but causing serious and potentially irreparable tensions with Pitt.”

Now if that isn’t a titillating press release I don’t know what is.  Would you read this book??

Lindsay Lohan attended Sir Richard Branson’s benefit in support of Virgin Unite (the non-profit leg of Virgin Group) and his mother’s foundation The Eve Branson Foundation.  More about this event here.

Despite rumours that Lindsay Lohan’s record label, Casablanca dropped her, her rep says they are not true and that she had been having difficulty juggling her acting career with recording an album.  Um.  No comment.

Bradley Cooper doesn’t look like a man who’s just coming off of a break up with Renee Zellweger, so I’m inclined to think those ‘break-up’ rumours are just that:  rumours.  It was reported he was romancing producer Holly Wiersma.  A girl (or guy) can go insane listening to all these rumours, huh?

However, that makes me wonder if the latest rumours of her meeting his parents are true.  A ‘source’ told the New York Daily News:

“Things have been heading in this direction for the two of them for a while, but this definitely solidifies how serious they are”

“She says she’s nervous, and she’s really hoping it goes well. But she’s very excited.  “It’s quite serious. Renee and Bradley are crazy about each other. For both their sake, I certainly hope Gloria likes her.”

Josh Lucas was on hand at the opening of New York’s latest hotspot Purgatorio last night, and although there were other people attending the opening, it is only Josh Lucas who I want to post about.

We don’t see enough of this handsome, sexy man, but that will be rectified soon enough as he has a number of projects in the works according to IMDB. Woo Hoo!
