This just proves my point that we, as women, are WAY too hard on ourselves.  If Salma Hayek doesn’t feel sexy what is wrong with this world?  Salma says it’s not her body that is great but she dresses it properly!

“I won a ‘Best Body Award’ from Fitness Magazine and I was too embarrassed to accept it. I actually don’t have a good body, but if everybody thinks so, I guess it means I’m a good actress. I have acted the part of the girl who has a very good body. If you know how to dress, there’s some tricks you can pull.”

We need to be a little more accepting of ourselves I think.  How she can not stare at herself in the mirror naked for hours I just don’t understand.  I would never leave my house.   

Salma thinks the fashion world has a little too much say in what is considered attractive:

“What do we call ugly now? It’s anybody that is not super-skinny and really tall. Some people think they’re ugly just because they don’t reach that standard. I personally have seen a lot of really skinny tall models that maybe I think are ugly and they need to eat a little to look healthy.”

While some women are naturally super-skinny, I think women spend too much time depriving themselves and obsessing about thinness.  We are all guilty of it.   This madness needs to stop.  What say we all have a donut today?

The environmentally conscious celebrities came out last night for the Environmental Media Awards held at Paramount Studios in Hollywood. 

Sir Richard Branson and Jason Mraz were honoured as were Centropolis Entertainment and National Geographic Society.   My spidey senses tell me that burning all the styrofoam yesterday was wrong.  Kidding!! Please don’t send emails.

Lethbridge, Alberta’s Tara-Jean Popwich was crowned Canada’s So You Think You Can Dance champion!  The speechless 20-year old said:

“I was not expecting this,” “Thank you so much. I love you guys”

Besides being Canada’s favourite dancer, Tara-Jean gets $100,000 and a 2010 Mazda 3 Sport.  Perhaps SYTYCD Canada can open a geratric divsion?  I would totally look cool in a Mazda 3 Sport.

Backstage Tara-Jean was still in awe:

“I feel like the luckiest person in the world,” “I can’t believe it. It totally hasn’t sunk in yet!”

Congratulations to Tara-Jean!  I haven’t watched either Canada’s or the U.S.’s SYTYCD, but I hear nothing but fabulous things about it.  Maybe next year?

Emily Blunt is on the set of The Adjustment Bureau filming scenes with Shane McRae (I think that’s him, I’m not familiar with him) and walking around the set in-between scenes in New York City.

You know, on Twitter tonight there is a ‘Trending Topic’ #lettertomyex and I wondered what her letter to Michael Buble would look like?  What do you think she would say?  And remember, it has to be in 140 characters or less!

Also on the set was the always adorable and very likeable Matt Damon, and unfortunately he’s not showing off his hot body.
