If there is one thing we can learn from the Justin Bieber signing cancellation riot, it’s this:  don’t piss pubescent girls off.

It seems the camp of Usher’s protege did not anticipate having 1,000 screaming girls show up for a signing at Roosevelt Field shopping mall in Long Island and in fact only expected a couple hundred (he showed them, huh?).

Mall security was unable to keep the crowds under control, the venue was then deemed unsafe and they would not bring Bieber out (these pictures are of him arriving at the MTV Studios and the tongue shot kind of disturbs me and makes me think, oh great, another Miley Cyrus).  That didn’t sit too well with hormonal 13 year old girls.  Like it would with any hormonal female, but pubescent girls? Forget it.   Once it was announced he wasn’t coming out the riots started.

The worst part is a young girl was hospitalized as a result of the insanity.  According to TMZ she is thought to have suffered only minor injuries.  Justin took to Twitter to plead with his fans:

“The event at Roosevelt mall is cancelled. please go home.  The police have already arrested one person from my camp. I don’t want anyone hurt.”

Remind me not to have eye contact with young teenage girls.  They scare me.

The Black Eyed Peas performed, and the Victoria’s Secret queen of the show, Heidi Klum strutted her gorgeous body down the runway ONE MONTH after giving birth to her fourth child!!!

New models Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Lindsay Ellingson, Emanuela de Paula, Chanel Iman and Candice Swanepoel joined the show while the ‘old-timers’ Marissa Miller, Alessandra Ambrosio and Miranda Kerr continued with their signature walks down the runway.

Behind the scenes Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, Adrienne Baillon, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Olivier Martinez (how YOU doin?) watched the show which will air December 1.  Photos after the break include the red carpet, celebs watching the show and the show itself.

I can’t imagine a better way to end the week then with Matt Damon, Josh Brolin and Viggo Mortensen.  Man meat all around!! They are at the screening of The History Channel’s The People Speak in New York which is:

A look at America’s struggles with war, class, race and women’s rights. based on Howard Zinn’s “A People’s History of the United States

In other Matt Damon related news, Shakira is considering apologizing to Matt Damon’s wife because of a song she has on her She Wolf album entitled ‘Men in This Town‘ which the lyrics describing him as one of ‘the good ones’ and ‘he’s not meant for me’ are directed at Damon.  She tells Entertainment Weekly:

“I know Matt and his wife. We have friends in common. I hope she’s not mad at this. He’s one of those good men. He’s really something,” ”Maybe I should send an apologetic note to the wife and say, ‘Hey, I’m taken too, don’t worry’

I’m sure Matt Damon’s wife is used to it.

Cameron Diaz is on location in Salzburg, Austria filming Knight & Day which also stars Tom Cruise and is described as:

An action-comedy centered on a fugitive couple (Cruise and Diaz) on a glamorous and sometimes deadly adventure where nothing and no one – even themselves – are what they seem

Cameron is seen in the photos waving and joking with fans and director James Mangold.   The film is set for release July 2, 2010.
