Natalie Portman Premieres ‘Brothers’
Natalie Portman and costar, Tobey Maguire are at the New York premiere of their movie Brothers where:
A young man comforts his older brother’s wife and children after he goes missing in Afghanistan. Based on Susanne Bier’s film, “Brothers”
Jake Gyllenhaal also stars in the movie but wasn’t at the premiere. Boo. The movie looks good, but potentially a major tear jerker.
During her promotional tour, Natalie explained her reason for agreeing to star in Thor:
I just thought it sounded like a weird idea because Kenneth Branagh’s directing it, so I was just like, “Kenneth Branagh doing Thor is super-weird. I’ve gotta do it.”

OMG how beautiful is Nat in that gown!? Can’t wait to see the movie. This is a totally different type of role for her.
Anybody have a chance to see “Brothers”? Probably the best movie I’ve seen all year. Totally stunned by Maguire and Gyllenhaal’s performances. I’d never seen such darkness in any of those two guys.

Yea I saw it last night .. It’s a really deep movie, I thoroughly enjoyed it. And yeah it is a bit of a tear-jerker but very much a complicated love story. Some hot scenes with Nat and Jake Gyllenhaal don’t hurt either …
