Twenty one year old Swedish American Idol winner, Agnes talks about her life since she won the honour, her chart-topping single “Release Me,” and her favorite parts of performing.

She’s also recently answered a few questions from I Need My Fix (after the break):

1.          At what point in your life did you know this was your passion?

I think I have always known that this was my passion.

2.          What do you see yourself doing in the future  over and above your music?

Right now I am so focused on my music but I have a passion for fashion and jewleries.

3.          Stevie Wonder was one of your greatest influences, which female musician  was/is your greatest influence musically?

Whitney Houston – she has an amazing voice.

5.       What is the most difficult part of being in show business?

I am travelling a lot in my work. I really miss my family and friends during my trips.

6.       What is the best part of being in show business?

To perform.

7.       Describe how you felt the first time you sang live?

I was so nervous that I wanted to throw up. Afterwords I was high on adrenaline.

8.       Describe your style musically

Dance / pop

9.       What has the experience on the ‘Dance Love Pop Tour been like?

It is the first album released outside of Sweden. Being able to travel around the world performing my songs and music is the best!

10.   Describe the extra tracks that are going to be added to the UK release of Dance Love Pop

Some of them are old songs that we have remixed. Two songs are totally new for the UK release and then there’s a live duet added to the album where I sing with fellow Swede Erik Hassle.

11.   What’s next for Agnes?

At this very moment I am on a plane to London where I am going to perform at G.A.Y Heaven. After that I am doing the Clubland UK tour and Jingle Bell Ball. All this in November / December. Then it’s X-mas and quality time with my family.
