Things are going great for Julianne Moore.  The actress was nominated for a Golden Globe this morning for her supporting role in A Single Man and she is the new face for Bulgari, the luxurious Italian jewellery and accessories line. Considering ageism is very real in Hollywood, this is great news for the 49 year old deserving actress.

The first campaign is entitled Eccentric Charisma and premieres in Feburary 2010. According to BANGShowbiz:

The posters, which were shot by fashion photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, show the flame-haired beauty reclining in an ornate boudoir wearing emerald drop earrings and jewelled snake bracelets from Bulgari’s Serpenti collection.  She also poses with the label’s latest handbags.

The photo shoot was inspired by Jean-Leon Gerome’s famous painting Odalisque, which shows a woman lying naked on a tangle of luxurious silk sheets.

I’ve always thought Julianne Moore was such a beautiful woman and an incredible actress and I’m glad we are seeing more of this talented woman.
