Charlize Theron Designs Shoe Line For Charity
Charlize Theron has teamed up and designed footwear with TOMS Shoes to benefit her Charlize TheronAfrica Outreach Project.
She is designing limited edition footwear that will feature both a men and women’s line, and TOMS will ‘donate a pair of shoes to a child in need for every full-price pair purchased. The company has agreed to donate 10,000 pairs to children living in remote parts of South Africa’. Charlize says of the partnership:
“I’m thrilled to have TOMS Shoes as a partner. We are so grateful for their generous donation of shoes to the students we work with,” “It’s exciting that we’re able to come together in such a cool and creative way to bring attention to the needs of many South African youth“
The footwear is a slip-on style, and has a picture of an African baobab tree etched on the side. They are priced at $54, and are available from TOMSshoes.com.
