Lady Gaga and Pink are confirmed to perform at the 2010 Grammy Awards.

Both are up for awards with Lady GaGa receiving five nominations,and Pink for the Best Pop Vocal award for her album Funhouse, and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for her song Sober.

I mentioned it before and I’ll mention it again:  Pink was one of my most favourite concerts this year.  She was fun, entertaining and she is a powerhouse vocally.  If you ever get the chance to see her live you really should.  And to those that have seen her in concert:  I am still looking for the couch she used on stage

Other confirmed performances include:  Beyonce Knowles, Taylor Swift, The Black Eyed Peas, Maxwell and country group Lady Antebellum.

The awards will be handed out on January 31 in Los Angeles!

Being rich, famous and handsome (okay I added the handsome part) is no reason to be a jerk according  to George Clooney:

Why do I giggle ever so slightly when Gerard Butler and Golden Globes are mentioned in the same sentence?

Set your PVR’s, TIVO’s, VCR’s people!  Gerard Butler, Mel Gibson and Sophia Loren have all been confirmed as presenters for the Golden Globe Awards which air on January 17th.  Sophia Loren!! Can you believe it?

Previous presenters confirmed earlier included Colin Farrell, Halle Berry, Matthew Fox, Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston, Nicole Kidman, and Mickey Rourke.  I’ve also heard rumours that Angelina Jolie is also presenting.  That’s going to be interesting.

Ricky Gervais hosts the show (yayyyy) and says:

“I’m most looking forward to sharing the stage with Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro and Martin Scorsese,” he said. “Who’d have thought it. The biggest heartthrob, greatest actor and best director in the world… and those three, all in one place.”

Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro will be presenting Martin Scoresese with the Cecil B. DeMille award for his:

“outstanding contribution to the entertainment field”

Rebecca Gayheart is out shopping with friends in Los Angeles looking like she’s ready to pop right then and there. She did confirm in November she was pregnant (duh, we didn’t notice) but did not indicate when she was due.
