Matt Damon used to talk about Morgan Freeman so much he received a dinner with him as a Christmas gift:

“Ten years ago, my assistant gave me a gift for Christmas – dinner with Morgan Freeman,” “I used to talk about him so much that she called his assistant and they organized a sit-down. It was kinda like a Make-a-wish foundation thing. And we spent a few hours together – he even tolerated all my questions… about everything.”

I find Matt Damon to be hysterical.  I love the ‘Make-a-wish foundation reference.  He’s such a big kid it is so adorable, yet he is manly hot at the same time.

And despite it being 10 years ago, Matt still always thinks of it, so to have the opportunity to work with Morgan Freeman on ‘Invictus‘ is the ultimate gift:

“Ten years later, not only do I get a chance to sit across the table from him again but I get to work with him again – in a Nelson Mandela movie; I couldn’t pass that up

Invictus is a biographical film about former South African president Nelson Mandela’s life during the 1995 Rugby World Cup. Matt plays Francois Pienaar, the South African team captain, while Morgan plays the legendary politician and freedom fighter.
