Whether he’s rocking a dress on David Letterman, or sporting a tie, Kiefer Sutherland looks his typical hot self at the premiere of Season 8 of 24 held at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.  I had my own little performance planned but I was intercepted by security.

Mary Lynn Rajskub (hubby loves Chloe so I’m smelling double date potential here), Annie Wersching (who took the pants optional route tonight), Cherry Jones, Freddie Prinz Jr., and the rest of the cast attended.

24 Premieres Sunday, January 17, 2010 @ 9/8 central for a 2 night 4 hour season premiere.

Lindsay Lohan attended the launch of Vida at Voyeur last night barely concealing her rather large bits.  She put on a brave face amidst rumours of a 47 second sex tape of her being shopped around Hollywood.  This news is courtesy of the Daily Mail so I’m not sure just how much credence one should put on it.  Not that I care because, call me crazy, an existing sex tape of Lindsay doesn’t shock me.  I know, right?

According to the photos, the launch party is for the worlds most fashionable luxury pleasure object.  You know everyone got a freebie.

Soul singer Teddy Pendergrass has died at the age of 59 after undergoing surgery to treat colon cancer at a Philadelphia hospital.   The singer had been battling the disease for the last eight months.  His son Teddy II released this statement:

“To all his fans who loved his music, thank you,” “He will live on through his music.”

Teddy Pendergrass was left paralyzed from a car accident in 1982.  He went on to record Love Language the following year and established the Teddy Pendergrass Alliance, an organization whose mission is to encourage and help people with spinal cord injuries achieve their maximum potential in education, employment, housing, productivity and independence, according to its website.

He is the first African American to record five consecutive multi-platinum albums.  His hits include “Love T.K.O.,” ”Close the Door” “Turn Off The Lights” and “I Don’t Love You Anymore.” He is survived by his son, two daughters, his wife, his mother and nine grandchildren.

Our condolences to his family and friends.

Katy Perry is the new face of acne treatment Proactiv and is reportedly inking a deal worth $4 million!  The campaign has Katy discussing her own teenage battle with acne for a series of TV advertisements that will be shown in 58 countries.

She is thrilled with the deal and not shy to discuss her skin issues:

“I got acne at the start of my career,” “It was stressful. I have acne scars which I’m self-conscious about.”

You would never know it, her skin always looks so beautiful!  Proactiv spokesman Ben Van de Bunt confirmed the news:

“We are paying people consistent with what we have done in the past – millions of dollars.”

Former celebrities that have been part of the Proactiv campaigns include Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

It’s actually quite funny.  He’s adorable and clearly has a great sense of humour despite how self-conscious and uncomfortable he was.

He of course is on the show to promote the new season of 24 which airs this Sunday.
