By now you’ve probably heard that Marie Osmond’s son, Michael Blosil committed suicide.  I was on my way out the door yesterday when I saw the news and I just can’t believe it.  First Arte Lange tried to commit suicide, then Andrew Koenig was found dead and now this.  It is so sad that these three men felt such deep despair.  My heart goes out to their families.

Marie’s son had been struggling with depression for years apparently and had gone to rehab in 2007 (he was clean and sober at the time of his death according to friends).  Michael was found dead yesterday after he had lept to his death from his apartment building.  He was to have hung out with a friend who lived in the building Friday night but TMZ is reporting she received a text just before 9 p.m. telling her there was a note in his apartment for her.

When she went to his apartment his roommates let her in and as they read the note that indicated how unhappy he was and how she was his only good friend.  Shortly thereafter they heard the sirens as someone had called 911 upon seeing his body. The time between the text and hearing the sirens was apparently a very short time span.

Marie’s rep released the following statement yesterday:

My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time.

Our sincere condolences to Marie Osmond, Michael’s father Brian, and all of Michael’s family and friends.

You`ve got to give Lady GaGa props for recycling, right!  When she isn`t bedazzling toilet brushes, or wearing straw wreath`s as face gear, she`s rocking sparkly lobsters on her noggin.  Gawd bless her. Although her plastic pantsuit might have environmentalists a little pissed.

Here she is at Mr. Chows in London after the final show of her Monster Ball. Apparently she is also being fined for being late at that show.  I`m not sure how much truth there is to that story but according to Britain`s Daily Star she took to the stage 25 minutes after her curfew which is put in place by O2 arena bosses. According to a source:

“Lady Gaga was still doing her dress rehearsal at 7pm when the doors were supposed to be open and the first support act was due on. She wouldn’t finish rehearsing until she was happy.

“In the end she was 45 minutes late but refused to cut the set short. She told organisers she didn’t care about the fine, all she cared about was putting on the best show for her ‘little monsters’.”

Lady GaGa is dressed like a super hero with ripped fishnets after her concert at the O2 Arena in London.  If you look closely she is holding a camera in her right hand filming all the fans and pappers taking her photo.

Britney Spears goes shopping in Hollywood with her bodyguard while pappers and fans surround her.  She looks really stressed by the situation.  But let’s talk about what’s really important:   do you like her hair better dark or light?

When I went searching for information to add to these pictures  I came cross a story that indicated Britney was dropping an album in June which was news to me.  So then I dug a little deeper (cuz I’m deep like that) and Britney has indicated negative on that story and actually has a B.S .Alert on her site for all those pesky little rumours.  Those of you who are hardcore fans would already be aware of this page, I know.

If you notice she has a ring on her ‘ring’ finger.  Does this mean anything or does she just like to wear jewelry? What do you think?

Note: An observant person on Twitter pointed out that Britney’s finger is green from her jewelry.  Omg that’s craziness.  Doesn’t she have a black American Express? Who needs fake jewelry.  Thanks Sean

Matt Damon premiered Green Zone in New York last night with his lovely and very lucky wife Luciana Barroso who wore a gorgeous blue off the shoulder dress. Costars Amy Ryan, Nicoye Banks, Khalid Abdalla, and Jason Isaacs also attended as did Brendan Gleeson.

Matt Damon plays Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller:

Discovering covert and faulty intelligence causes a U.S. Army officer to go rogue as he hunts for Weapons of Mass Destruction in an unstable region

The movie opens in theatres March 12.  Also attending the premiere:  Howard Stern and his lovely wife Beth Ostrosky, Julia Stiles, Andrew McCarthy and others.

At the premiere Howard Stern talked to The Insider and gave his opinion on American Idol and how he feels about working with Ellen DeGeneres:

“I read in the paper that they want to give me $100 million to judge a karaoke contest, and that seems like pretty good pay for something as dumb as that,”

“Ellen has said she won’t work with me, but quite frankly, after watching her on the stupid show, I gotta tell ya, I won’t work with Ellen. She’s out if I come in.”
