Jennifer Lopez has confirmed the split with Sony’s Epic Record in her statement:

“I am making this statement to put an end to any confusion in regards to my next album, titled ‘Love.’ I have belonged to the Sony family since the beginning of my career as a singer and together we’ve had great success. I have fulfilled my contractual responsibilities with Sony/Epic up to this point, and we have both reached friendly terms about my departure from the label. I’m also happy to say that we’ve found a new home for my album, ‘Love,” and that it is slated for release in the summer of 2010.

No word on who her new record label will be with although rumours are that it could be Def Jam which Mariah Carey and Rihanna are signed with.

Matt Damon is said to be playing Robert F. Kennedy in a film that will be directed by Gary Ross and written by Steven Knight although Damon will give his final blessing when he sees the script.  The deal closed at New Regency based on the Evan Thomas biographyHis Life.

The film:

will trace RFK’s transformation from the younger brother in the shadow brother President John F Kennedy to a strong national leader in his own right before he was gunned down in 1968

I think Matt Damon is the perfect choice for this role with his handsome looks and his exceptional acting abilities. Can you see Matt in this role or do you  think another actor would better suit it?

It was too good to be true.  I think I had a whole two weeks of uninterrupted site issues.  That was until sometime in the wee hours of the morning the site decided to break.  Not because I did anything to change it.  Just because.  *sigh*

So the site is back up and running (I’m so sorry for the frustrations felt by those of you who tried to access it earlier) but a couple of things have changed and will be looked into.

First, the RSS and RSS Comments doesn’t work but you can subscribe to a feed in the interim via the reader option.

The other thing is if you are in a particular post (as opposed to the main page), you need to hit the home tab (pink at the top right hand corner of the page) as opposed to hitting the logo name (the fancy shmancy I Need My Fix lettering).  That used to be able to take you to the main page and refresh, but that too is broken.  *sigh*

Not the end of the world but it means a lot to me if your experience on our site is not frustrating.

That’s right Hilary flaunt that ring sister.  Hilary Duff can’t quite wipe the smile off her face and who can blame her? Hilary and her fiance Canadian hockey player Mike Comrie leave Katsuya restaurant last night after last week’s proposal during their vacation in Hawaii.  The ring is said to be worth $1 Million!!!  In addition to being a hockey player Mike is an heir to the Canadian chain of stores The Brick.

The two are said to be buying a $10 Million home together.

And to think I was happy as a clam just to get my site back up and running.  I think I need to set higher goals for myself.

Angelina Jolie looks quite lovely (and French, non?) on the set of the movie she is currently filming The Tourist while on location in the most romantic place on earth (besides my basement) Paris, France.

You can see her life partner and the man with the pubic curtain on his face, Brad Pitt in the background.  No sign of the small country also known as their children (note:  I stand corrected I believe some of her kids are on the set..it’s been a rough day folks. forgive .  Maybe she threw Brad a bone and got him a part in the movie.  He does look like he’s an extra in a street scene.  Or perhaps he has taken up stalking in which case my respect for him just doubled.
