I can’t imagine what it feels like to be left for another woman (hubby is smart enough to never go down that path simply because as any good wife knows, fear is instilled, that and he’s not a douche), but to have it in the public eye the way Dita Von Teese did when douchebag Marilyn Manson left her would be positively brutal.  And what did Miss Von Teese do?  She handled it with grace like she does everything in her life. Oh, and she held her head high and kicked his scrawny ass to the curb and probably did so dressed to the nines in couture.

And sometimes when a good woman is scorned the gawds of fate step in and make it all right.  And by all right I mean you are delivered a young, yummy piece of prime lean manmeat.  Manmeat that knows a good woman when he sees it, and is crazy about her as is evidenced by him not being able to keep his hands off of her gorgeous body.  Manmeat that happens to be a Count.  A Count!  The only Count I know is Chocula.

Kristen Bell looks sexy on the cover of Dirrty Glam magazine’s April issue.  This is a little bit of a departure for the very cute girl we tend to view Kristen as.  However, I’ve always known she’s had it in her.  And I mean that in a very respectful way.  I think Kristen Bell is totally the whole package.  I heart her badly.  :)

For her role in the film Burlesque she went to the dark side:

“I’m a blonde girl who goes dark to go bad. They felt my character should be brunette and bad.”

“I’m the girl who feels threatened by Christina. It was make-believe – I just pretended to make Christina’s life a misery.”

In addition to Burlesque, Kristen has a comedy coming out in September entitled You Again:

When a young woman realizes her brother is about to marry the girl who bullied her in high school, she sets out to expose the fiancée’s true colors

Katherine Heigl has darkened her hair and it looks like her mood as well in some of the pictures as she and friends hang out in Los Angeles.  In some pictures she is carrying her latest niece who was born in December.

Although Shonda Rimes has confirmed that Katherine will be returning to Grey’s Anatomy, there are rumours circulating that Katherine is on the verge of quitting the show to focus on her movie career.

Katherine will be honoured this year at ShoWest 2010 with Female Star of the Year.

I don’t understand Simon Cowell.  What’s the big deal? If he’s engaged to Mezhgan Hussainy, why not admit it? We. can. see. the. big. honking. diamond.  Hellooo??

When Simon appeared on Jay Leno last night Leno asked him point blank:

“Are rumors you’re engaged true?”

And Simon very carefully answered:

“Are they true? Well, I do have somebody in my life now, Jay, yes. And I kinda made a decision this year to make somebody happy.”

Ugggh.. Just admit it already.  This is like Beyonce and Jay-Z not confirming they were married. How clueless do you think the general public is?

Jay, of course couldn’t pass up on referencing the ginormous rock Mezghan is sporting saying he thought she broke her arm.  Simon:

“It’s quite a big one, yes.”

Jay then asked him:

” “Where did you, or may have, gotten engaged?”

Simon clearly uncomfortable (and blushing) responded:

“I find this very uncomfortable. I was asleep, I think. No, look, I bought her the ring in London.”

Simon even talked about whether children are in his future:

“I’m kind of torn because I’m a bit too old to have kids, but then again I think it would be important to have a lot of me’s around in the future.“

Apparently Mezghan joined him on stage and it was described that they were very comfortable with one another and all giggly and happy.  I’m really happy for Simon and while I understand that he doesn’t want to be hounded about this, the fact of the matter is her rock is huge. How could we possibly not notice?  So of course people are going to be curious and ask.

Part 1

Last week I had a post with Matt Damon outside the David Letterman studios (ahead of his trip to Berlin), where he taped a show to air last Friday, March 5, 2010 promoting Green Zone.

He talked about a bet he lost, being up for an Oscar for Invictus, meeting Nelson Mandela (before filming Invictus) with his wife and kids, and a trip with his brother to Zambia and an encounter with a very large bug.  He even does another Matthew McConaughey impression.  It’s always a great time when Matt Damon is on David Letterman.

“I am romantic but I think it takes more than just flowers. Marriage is great and blissful, but it takes work and understanding. You have to make time to spend together and to work through your issues. The more we grown and learn, both as individuals and as a couple, the closer we get.”

“I knew as soon as I saw her. She’s beautiful but, more importantly, we had a connection. Through her I’ve learnt that you need to have a life outside this business, otherwise you’ll be left feeling profoundly empty. So marrying Jill was a turning point for me. I thought, ‘Whatever happens now, I have a loving wife and that’s what it’s all about.’ “

…..telling Britain’s Cosmoplitan magazine that marriage takes work.  Gawd this man just keeps getting hotter.  I must have him.  Just once.  Shhhh don’t tell Kiefer.
