Peter Graves Has Died

Movie veteran Peter Graves has died at the age of 83. He was an actor in both TV and film and is probably best known for his role as Jim Phelps in the Mission Impossible TV series and also for his role as Capt. Clarence Oveur in the 1980 hit movie Airplane! He was host of the TV show Biography for over a decade in which he won an Emmy for. His first film was 1951′s Rouge River.
He was found dead in his home and is believed to have suffered from a heart attack. Thursday he would have turned 84. He is survived by wife Joan, their three daughters, Kelly, Claudia and Amanda, and six grandchildren.
