When asked if she was excited about her nuptials to Russell Brand, Katy Perry said:

“Well, I have to plan my [new album, due this summer] first and then I’m going to get to my wedding,” “But I’m really excited about that, too.

She need not worry.  It looks like Russell is on top of things (or has a fetish for women in wedding dresses):

“He (Brand) is a total bridezilla. He’s like a freak, man. You should see – he’s always, like, buying bride magazines. Every time we go out for breakfast, he’s like, ‘Can we just stop and get a bride magazine?’”

But eloping is not out of the question either:

“We just want it to mean something,” “It doesn’t matter if it’s just me and him or if it’s a big, fat ordeal.”

Wedding plans aside, their engagement is going swimmingly:

“Fabulous! Better than I would imagine engagements typically do!
