I didn’t think I could dislike Tiger any more than I do, but thanks to this Nike ad, that dream just came true.  In it he stares at the camera trying to look all sad and stuff while the voice over is of his father talking to him.

Seeing as I don’t possess a penis on my body, I’m not as willing to overlook Tiger’s serial cheating ways like all of his golf fans are.  And it isn’t even so much the sex aspect of it (well except for the serial part although I realize that is completely between Tiger and his wife), but that he always portrayed himself to be Mr. Goody Two Shoes that pisses me off.

So I’m not sure the point of this ad (to garner sympathy of some kind, perhaps?) but I have to say I think it’s stupid and makes me want to never buy another Nike product ever again.  And if I never have to look at Tiger’s puss again I can die happy.

Demi Moore looks lovely as always as she hits the red carpet with her cute real life hubby Ashton Kutcher and daughter Rumer Willis to promote The Joneses in Los Angeles last night.

Also on the red carpet was her co-star who plays her on-screen hubby, David Duchovny as well as fellow stars in the film:  Lauren Hutton, Ben Hollingsworth, Gary Cole, and Christine Evangelista.

Sara Paxton, Christina Moore, Clifton Collins Jr., Rick Springfield, and Danny Huston round out the celebrity filled premiere.  The film hits theatres April 16.

Who else could wear a body hugging Herve Leger dress just 3 months after giving birth but Gisele Bundchen?  Baby Benjamin was born December 9 and she looks incredible in Paris as she launches her eco-friendly shoe collection Ipanema.

Apparently her flip-flops sell for as much as $230 a pair.  *gulp*.  I think I paid $5.99 for mine at a drug store.

Katy Perry first met Russell Brand on his film Get Him To The Greek in which they had a kissing scene:

“When he was filming Get Him to the Greek, I did a cameo with him.

“My scene called for me to make out with him. And on the way down the stairs after the scene, I was hopping like a bunny. I hop like a bunny when I’m happy – I get a bit childlike.”

That’s where it all began and guess what?  Apparently a source says that particular scene is not in the movie! WHAT? Test audiences said the scene was removed and instead there is a scene of him and Christina Aguilera locking lips:

“Everyone had been waiting for the big kiss scene, but it wasn’t there. It’s the moment the big romance started. And now they are getting married – it’s like a fairytale unravelling in front of our eyes. The scene has got to get back in there.”

I’m not sure which knobs are behind this brilliant move (assuming the rumour is true) but I would think lots of people would see the movie for that reason alone.  I totally would want to see the movie for that reason alone, but then again I’m certifiable.

The movie opens June 4 in the U.S.

I have been a bad blogger of late.  Actually a bit bad, a bit bored (with celebrity news) and a lot busy, so today I shall endeavour to entertain you with my wit and charm and lots of pretty pictures.

I’m starting off with this video which the person, Lin Yu Chun is being dubbed the Taiwanese Susan Boyle.  Except it’s a boy.

He’s 23 and is in contention for Super Star Avenue’s $1 million grand prize (and recording contract).  That is Taiwan’s version of American Idol.  I get goose bumps listening to this young man sing Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You.

“I have had something done but it’s not on my face. It (the speculation) feels like schoolyard name-calling a lot of the time. It hurts. You know what? Maybe one day I’ll go under the knife. It just irritates me that people are constantly saying how much I’ve spent on plastic surgery.”

“I had an extreme obsession with my body. I made it a measure of my own value. I tried to dominate it, which I did, and I changed it multiple times over. But it never lasted and ultimately it didn’t bring me anything but temporary happiness. Does being thin resolve anything? No. The irony is that when I abandoned that desire to dominate my body, it actually became the body that I’d always wanted.

“But it only happened when I stopped trying to control it. At the end of the day, this kind of obsession is pointless and meaningless.”
