Do you love this season of Dancing With The Stars or what?  I have to confess that even though I have it on my TV every Monday night I am also Twittering and sometimes talking on the phone.  So I had actually missed this dance and I’m posting it for those of you who missed it because Maksim Chmerkovskiy takes off his shirt and I know there are lots of you out there who will likey.  I love the top half of the dress Erin Andrews is wearing (not a fan of the bottom portion) and the colour looks divine on her.  So are these two ‘involved’ or what?  If they aren’t I think there is lots of chemistry they are fighting.  I think she’s good for him.  What do you think?

Jake Pavelka misjudged the steps during his dance with Chelsie Hightower, but whether there are stairs or not, I think he tends to trip over his clown feet anyways.  I’m not sure why, it’s not like they are huge or anything.

Cheryl Burke and Chad Ochocinco did absolutely fabulous last night compared to their other dances.

Derek Hough and Nicole Scherzinger as well as Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya were fabulous as always.

The group dance was not my cup of tea.  At all.

The Academy of Arts & Sciences held An Evening With Glee last night at the Leonard H. Goldenson theatre in Los Angeles.  Glee has plenty of reason to celebrate as the Madonna themed episode brought in 1.9 million viewers early numbers suggest.

John Mayer has been considering closing down his Twitter account:

“Within the last couple weeks, every night I think about cancelling my Twitter account… I just think Twitter, as a form of communication, I think it’s over to be honest with you.

“It (was) really sort of flawed from the beginning. I can’t tell you how many times I meet people or I’m having dinner with people who write stuff and they get upset they have haters now, like, ‘Why do I want to invent more reasons to have haters?’ I might as well spend that time making a sandwich or building a model ship or something…

Boo f*cking hoo.  John has haters because of idiotic interviews like the one in Playboy. However, he must have had a light bulb moment:

“My challenge going forward is to basically disregard the need, the obsessive need for external validation.”

That probably is the real problem.  There will always be haters especially being in the public eye, but if you’ve ever had the good fortune of reading his Tweets you may realize the real reason people are annoyed by him.

Scarlett Johansson stole the spotlight at the Iron Man 2 premiere in Los Angeles last night looking quite glamorous in a beautiful white dress and silver shoes.  She could have given Gwyneth Paltrow some fashion pointers. Shorts seem to be the latest thing to walk the red carpet in, which is fine as they probably cost a ton but I think the footwear Gwynny chose to go with the outfit do not work.  What do you think?

Mickey Rourke’s girlfriend Anastassija Makarenko looks stunning.  LOVE her shoes. The rest of the cast:  Robert Downey Jr., Don Cheadle, Sam Rockwell also attended as did Jennifer Grey, Adrien Brody, Olivia Munn, Samuel L. Jackson and others.

Mickey Rourke talked about preparation for his role in the movie included spending time in Russia’s Butyrka prison:

“I saw a lot there at the prison – and I got a lot more. I talked to a guy at Russia, in my hotel, who had just gotten out two weeks earlier – we spent a couple of hours together, and in those two hours he took his clothes off and showed me all the crazy tattoos he had.”

Lindsay Lohan and her sister Ali were at Millions of Milkshakes yesterday making a milkshake that, according to the write up with the pictures, will be auctioned off for charity.  I’m a little surprised we didn’t see power ranger daddy Michael Lohan in the pictures with his posse of sheriff’s and film crew.

But not to worry, according to TMZ Michael is threatening to release more tapes of conversations with Dina proving that what she is saying in the media versus what she is saying to him are completely opposite:

“If Dina wants to persist with the lies, denials and false accusations, I WILL release every one of the over 100 tapes I have of her stating the exact opposite of what she has been saying about Me and Lindsay.“

There have been too many reports stating that Dina is in denial so that is a concern, because if the allegations are true, Lindsay could end up being another Corey Haim as her father is worried about.  However, her father is still a douchebag for dealing with things the way he is dealing with them.

As I’ve mentioned before, Britney Spears‘ father didn’t need to go to these lengths to get his daugther the help she needed.  Perhaps Michael really does want to help Lindsay, however his need to be in the spotlight and feed his desperate ego seems to be more important to him.  At least that’s what it looks like to me.  What do you think?
