Russell Brand Does David Letter [VIDEO & PHOTOS]
Last night one of my favourite Englishmen, Russell Brand was on David Letterman where he talked about spending 48 hours with the marine and how he is now ready to protect us all!
He was pretty animated last night. There are a couple of clips below and doesn’t reflect the entire interview. But some is better than none, right?
In the second clip, he told David Letterman why he’s attracted to Dame Helen Mirren (they will star in the Arthur remake together)
“Mr. Letterman, I share your affection,” Helen Mirren is a wonderfully attractive woman. She’s obviously older than I am, and I’ve managed to define accurately what my attraction is to her.”
Russell says he’s drawn to her maternal presence and how his fantasy involves a bath, her dropping the soap in the water, eye contact and awkwardness. It’s quite funny.

Brand is hysterical and his latest film Get Him To The Greek, coming out this summer, filled with great music and a great cast, is sure to make millions laugh.
I think Russell’s hilarious. I know he’s a little over the top sometimes but that’s just him. Even if he’s being sexual or vulgar he’s always down to earth and honest and all that put together makes a very funny result. I really can’t wait for Get Him To The Greek.
I like Russell a lot too. He can be a bit over the top but I agree with you JOe in that he’s very down to earth and honest. I can’t wait to see the movie either!!
