Cameron Diaz looks so incredible at the Shrek Forever After premiere in Los Angeles over the weekend.  Red looks great on her.  Either that or it the fact she’s ‘allegedly’ boinking A-Rod is the reason for her looking so great.  Cameron talked about the challenge of recording the voice of Fiona:

“It’s a different kind of fun. The challenge for me is you don’t get a whole script. You kind of get the script on the day and you’re often reading it for the first time out loud as they are recording it. It’s the first time it’s coming out of my mouth. That’s the challenge.”

Also at the premiere were Melanie Brown and her family and Eddie Murphy and his family.  Although you would think it would be awkward (despite DNA testing he doesn’t acknowledge his 3 year old girl with Melanie) Eddie invited Melanie and her family to the premiere and according to an eyewitness:

“All of the children were there for the party, and it appeared that they’re one big happy, blended family… At one point, (Murphy and Brown) were in the kitchen together and seemed pretty friendly.”

I’ve been wondering where the hell Gerard Butler has been hiding and it’s not just my insanity imagination.  The dude is in Monaco! Gerard is at on the grid before the start of the Monaco Formula One Grand Prix at the Monte Carlo Circuit in Monaco.

He is pictured above with Mark Webber of Australia.

I also found him on the cover of May’s Architectural Digest (yes I know I am about a month late).  But to be honest, I have not seen this cover anywhere (I’ve included it in this post) and what I think is interesting is how when Jennifer Aniston did the cover in March, US Magazine came out with an article in which a source says Brad Pitt thinks Jennifer Aniston is pathetic considering she never had any interest in architecture and Brad thought it was her lame attempt to get him to notice her.

When I heard that I thought to myself, um, people can change and develop different interests.  As well, that shows Brad thinks it’s all about him.  Does it really need to be Architectural Digest for anyone to see her on a cover? She’s everywhere and I’m sure he has seen other covers than AD.?

Then here comes Gerard Butler to the rescue helping his pal Jennifer out by appearing on the May issue.  Whether that issue was done after the Brad Pitt article or what who knows? Was this done to save face for Jennifer Aniston, or is this just a case that it isn’t all about Brad Pitt (assuming he even said that to the source in the first place)?

Woody Allen’s movie You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger (he wrote and directed it) premiered at the Cannes Film Festival with the photo call occurring earlier in the day (photos included of that as well).

The cast of the movie:  Naomi Watts, Josh Brolin, Lucy Punch and Gemma Jones also appeared with him and rumour has it that Gemma will garner an Oscar nomination for this role.

Also in the movie but not  at the premiere:  Antonio Banderas, Anthony Hopkins, Anna Friel (at least I don’t think she is there…I’m not 100% familiar with how she looks and there were lots of people at the premiere) and Freida Pinto.

Not in the film but at the premiere were Diane Lane, Michelle Yeoh, Evangeline Lily, Jean Claude Van Damme and Elsa Pataky who I thought looked incredible in her dress. I loved Diane Lane’s dress as well.

He’s 12 years old and was recently on Ellen DeGeneres who flew him in because she wanted to meet him so badly.

My gawd this kid is GOOD.

There have been rumours circulating that Jim Carrey was out with a bevy of beauties recently sparking speculation that he has moved on from former love Jenny McCarthy.  They are both single and entitled to date, right?

Last night Jenny was seen holding hands with a man after having dinner at Katsuya. My Spidey senses think the timing is a little coincidental (just after the Jim Carrey with those babes’ rumour) and Jenny would know Katsuya is always ripe with paparazzi (it was Katsuya where Jenny took her famous fall which turned out to be a bet by her friend Chelsea Handler) .

Just because they are holding hands doesn’t mean they are doing the deed or romantically involved.  He could be gay and just be a close friend.
