The premiere of Robin Hood opened up the Cannes Film Festival and in addition to the stars of the movie, Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett the premiere brought out some big celebrities including Eva Longoria and Bollywood Beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

I have to say the ladies all look so lovely in their couture gowns and I need to make special mention of Dame Helen Mirren.  Can you believe the body on that woman?

TMZ has video footage of Miley Cyrus at the wrap party for the movie The Last Song in Georgia last year (when she was 16) and giving a lap dance to 44 year old producer of the movie Adam Shankman.  He’s also a judge on So You Think You Can Dance?

You know, the fact that the dude is gay doesn’t matter.  She’s only 16 for gawd’s sake.  I’m no prude, but this is just disgusting.  As an adult Adam should have pried her from his crotch.  Her parents weren’t at the party like that would matter.  So far no one is commenting on this video.  I guess they are still trying to come up with the spin on this.

Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett opened the Cannes Film Festival with the photocall for their movie Robin Hood along with producer Brian Grazer. Russell made it a family affair by bringing along his sons Charles (six) and Tennyson (three) and admits they are more into Harrison Ford more than him:

“They are deeply entranced in ‘Indiana Jones’ at the moment. They think Harrison Ford is a significantly better actor than their father and they really like to meet him.

“They are interested in ‘Robin Hood’ and when the bows and arrows come out they get pretty excited but at the moment their obsession is the work, life and times of Dr. Indiana Jones.”

He did get the kids to see Robin Hood, but they weren’t into it so much:

“I tried to get them to see Robin Hood on a day that they were terribly jet lagged so we didn’t get too far into it but one of these days we’ll do it.

“That’s the thing about this movie. It’s shot in such a way that even though it’s big and bold it doesn’t have the blood splattering, heads being severed sort of aspects to it that Gladiator does.”

“I thought, I’ll take them to this as the first one of my films they’ll see.

“They were so excited, and they got to the screening room and were going crazy. Five minutes into the film, my oldest boy, Charlie, is like, ‘Oh dad, can we go home now?’ And my little one keeps calling out, ‘Dad, when are you going to get a horse?’

Kelis swoops into London and arrives at  the BBC Maida Vale studios for her appearance on The Live Lounge.

I am the first to admit I’m not a fashion maven (afterall Walmart’s selection is somewhat limited), but this jacket she is wearing is F-U-G-L-Y.

Kelis looks like either the Loch Ness monster, or Big Bird with those wings, or I don’t know what.  If this becomes a fashion trend I’m going to start designing clothes.  Or become a Ninja.  I’m not sure which.

“It was so hot, 102 degrees or something. I went on stage in a leather jacket being stupid – I have to wear my leather jacket. I almost threw up in the middle of the second song. I was spewing in my mouth and swallowing it back down and I kept turning around and singing.

“It was the worst technical show that possibly ever happened but it was still awesome. It wasn’t a good week for me. Between heat stroke and food poisoning, I’m just having a little bad luck.”
