Radar Online is reporting that Bret Michaels‘ sister, Michelle called in to The Todd N Tyler Radio Empire show yesterday and told them Bret is:

“definitely doing better and he was starting to walk a little bit.”He’s up and moving but it is not going to surprise me if he is still in the Icu on Friday.  I think they’re having a problem really getting the bleed…I think there are some issues…that’s why the back pain.”

His speech is not slurred anymore but  he still has pain.  ”What’s happened is that all the blood in his brain is starting to drain and he’s starting to have a lot of back pain.  I can hear it in his voice.”

His neurological surgeon Dr. Joseph M. Zabramski of the St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Centre in Phoenix, Arizona where Bret is, will hold a news conference today at noon to update the public on Bret’s condition.

Michelle goes on to say:

“The fact that he got medical treatment right away, he went immediately and because there is one of the best neurological centers in America there he was very fortunate and I think he will recover quickly and it wouldn’t surprise me to see him back there sooner than most”

The Costume Institute Gala Benefit to celebrate the opening of the ‘American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity‘ exhibition at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York was held last night and it’s probably easier to ask who wasn’t there.

I must be really ill-equipped to understand fashion because I don’t like a majority of the dresses.  Vera Farmiga looks like Bo Peep looking for her Sheep.  But I guess that’s what fashion is all about right?  Individuality.  It’s like beauty, it’s all in the eye of the beholder.

My favourite ladies? Mila Kunis, Mariska Hargitay, Rachel Weisz, Renee Zellweger (although I’m not sure how she can walk in that dress) and of course Jennifer Lopez (if you look over JLo’s right shoulder I’m pretty sure that’s Christie Brinkley and her new face).  JLo looks like she should be on top of a wedding cake.

American Idol contestant Siobhan Magnus appeared on David Letterman last night singing the Rolling Stones‘ Paint It Black.  A lot of people were shocked that she was voted off last week.  Were you?

Jim Parsons from The Big Bang Theory (I heart Sheldon badly) was at the David Letterman studios as was rapper Wale, and Amanda Peet.

Mickey Rourke is also pictured where he appeared on last night’s show.

George and Ann Lopez launched their foundation (to provide resources for education) at the 3rd Annual George Lopez Celebrity Golf Classic where Hilary Duff’s fiance Mike Comrie helped her prop up that ginormous rock of hers.  Ann Lopez and Hilary compared their ice and call me crazy but they look very similar.

George being the trustworthy friend that he is told Extra that he knew of Sandra Bullock’s little angel Louis months ago and helped her to keep it out of the press:

“I love that she was able to do it privately and really take care of Louis, which is first and foremost,” “We are proud uncle and aunt of Louis Bardo Bullock. He’s beautiful.”

When asked if he and his wife Ann will be godparents to Louis:

“We haven’t been asked,” Lopez replied, but then joked, “Sandra is my godmother, so I’m happy just with that status.”
