Hugh Jackman enjoys an ice cream before picking up his daughter Ava from school where they each ride their scooters. That’s very adorable. He`s such a great dad, and so unassuming and down to earth.

Do you see the biceps on that man? Purrrrr. Not too big.  Not too small.  Perfection.

Hugh Jackman congratulated his Swordfish costar, John Travolta on the news that he and Kelly Preston are expecting a baby:

“I’m very thrilled for him. I know John – he’s an amazing dad and so that’s one lucky kid. I’m very, very, very happy for them. Very excited.”

Note:  I really have no business posting in the a.m. because I am not a morning person and to say I’m stunned would be the world’s biggest understatement.  So I go by what is written with the picture from the agency and they say Hugh is eating an ice cream.  Hence the title.  It is only now (3 p.m. est) that I take a good hard *ahem* look at the picture and it’s a BANANA!!! Ha ha ha.  However could I really put ‘Hugh Jackman Is A Hot Banana Man‘? I think not. My bad

Although I didn’t watch American Idol from the beginning of the show last night, I was super happy that I was watching when Bret Michaels walked out on stage singing Every Rose Has Its Thorn with former American Idol contestant Casey James. And of course he needed no introduction!

I really hope that Bret is not pushing it with his recent health challenges.  He seems to have not slowed down at all. It was a great performance and Bret looked really good.  Usually long haired rocker types that go after skanky looking babes don’t appeal to me, but I just may have to make an exception.

Lee DeWyze took the top honour in Season 9 of American Idol beating out fierce competitor Crystal Bowersox. He was really overcome by emotion when his name was announced breaking down in tears.

Paula Abdul came back to see Simon off as it was his last show.

My pretend boyfriend Russell Brand premiered Get Him To The Greek with his fiancee Katy Perry last night in Los Angeles along with his costar Jonah Hill.

And don’t worry, Russell has vowed to be faithful to his new bride Katy according to Britain’s Sun Newspaper:

“Yes, you have to be (faithful). That’s one of the things about this institution of marriage. My wife recently explained to me, ‘You must be faithful’ and I don’t have a problem with that. I’m really, really in love.

“There is certainly a compromise. You just can’t maraud through life f**king whoever you’d like – which is a shame, because I wish I actually could do that. That’s the compromise.”

Last night’s winners of the Dancing With The Stars‘ disco ball trophy, Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough, along with the other two finalists Evan Lysacek, Anna Trebunskaya, Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are in New York today to make the talk show circuit and are pictured here on Good Morning America this morning.

The first video is of all 6 of them in the studio and the second video is of them outside taking questions from the audience and via email.

One question of course was whether Maksim and Erin are dating to which they sidestepped the question quite well, although Erin ‘slipped up’ and referred to him as my man. One thing is for sure, they aren’t answering the question point blank.
