I should have done this post yesterday but it was a busy day.  And by busy I mean I was a lazy cow.  Monte Carlo’s Television Festival closed the other day with a bunch of television stars coming out to celebrate the closing ceremonies.

I have to wonder if this festival takes place as an excuse for stars to head to Monte Carlo and party in the summer. The reason I say this is Larry Hagman from Dallas and Donna Mills from Knots Landing were there and those shows have been off the air for years now.

The news that Ricky Gervais will make a guest appearance on Curb Your Enthusiasm brightened up this rainy crappy day. Do you watch CYE? It’s hysterical.

Larry David plays such a goof who gets into arguments and debates over the most ridiculous things.  And what can go wrong is pretty much guaranteed to go wrong.  I can only imagine how fabulous the  episode will be that Ricky Gervais appears on.  I lust after Ricky in a big way.  Larry too, but in a lesser way. I know.  My taste in men is all over the place like projectile vomit.

Ricky will be playing himself (purrrfect) and will appear in Episode 8 of the new season.  That’s the only information available.  But it’s something to live for, isn’t it?

The big guns at Summit Entertainment have confirmed that Twilight’s final book Breaking Dawn will be split into two films according to a press release:

“Summit Entertainment confirmed today that The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn will be released as two separate films with the first of the two slated to be released in theatres on November 18, 2011.

“Academy Award winner Bill Condon will direct both films starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner along with Billy Burke as Charlie Swan, as well as returning members of the Cullen Family including Peter Facinelli as Carlisle, Elizabeth Reaser as Esme,Jackson Rathbone as Jasper, Nikki Reed as Rosalie, Ashley Greene as Alice and Kellan Lutz as Emmett.“

Earlier this year Kristen Stewart spoke out saying Breaking Dawn:

“absolutely warrants two films.”

Breaking Dawn is currently being written by Melissa Rosenberg and produced by Wyck Godfrey, Karen Rosenfelt and Stephenie Meyer.  Production starts this Fall!

Russell Brand knew it was different when he met Katy Perry:

“I knew as soon as I saw her. My instinct was to change myself and not her. And that is a really positive thing.

New Kids On The Block’s Danny Wood, Jordan Knight, Donnie Wahlberg, Joey McIntyre and Jonathan Knight took their tour to Casino Rama in Orillia, Ontario last night.

I never know what to write about these guys because while I don’t dislike them, I can’t say I’m a big fan or anything, but I know there are some peeps out there who love these guys! You know who you are

If you weren’t able to see last night’s show, they are also performing there tonight.
