What can you say about Jane Lynch except talented, talented, talented? She plays Sue Sylvester on Glee and prior to that was Charlie’s psychologist on Two and A Half Men (her performances on that show were always great), and here she is starring in an iPhone commercial with Kassem G admitting to a third nipple and being caned.  But methinks she liked it.  Methinks Kassem finds it all very awkward! Classic Jane Lynch.

Is it so wrong that the crueler (is that a word it sounds like a donut product, eh?) and nastier Sue Sylvester gets the more I fall in love with her? The delivery of her lines are perfection and her contempt for all things idiotic brings a tear to my eye.  I heart her. I heart her badly.

Last night the CFDA Fashion Awards were held in New York where Marc Jacobs took home Womenswear Designer of the Year and fashion model (and wife of David Bowie) Iman took home the Fashion Icon Award.

During the evening Sarah Jessica Parker paid tribute to the late Alexander McQueen and introduced his final collection where it was seen for the first time at the awards last night.

Tom Cruise told E!’s Marc Malkin at Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards that we probably haven’t seen the last of Les Grossman and a movie may be in the works:

“We’re working on it,” he beamed. “Yup, we’re working on it.”

Katie Holmes’ choreographer Tyce Diorio helped Tom with the moves and Katie was really pleased with his performance. You could see that when they zoomed in on her in the audience during his performance on Sunday.

I find his character Les hysterical! Would you like to see a Les Grossman movie? Do we need to start a Facebook movement to get this going?

Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith premiered The Karate Kid along with Jaden’s dad and mom Will and Jada Pinkett and his siblings. Proud mom Jada says of her son’s role in the movie:

“As parents, we saw the blood, the sweat, and the tears that he put into it.”

Original Karate Kid Ralph Macchio also attended the festivities with his own son and told The Insider:

“I’m here representing the legacy of the brand we were able to create way back in the day.”

It’s totally way back in the day because Ralph has his own son who is 14 years old! Time flies, doesn’t it?

Jackie Chan had advice for Jaden while making the film:

‘When it comes to stunt choreography, I have a lot of advice to give. On the set, I showed him how he could make his moves stronger and more powerful. But I also shared many stories of hardship from my life with him. I constantly reminded him that he should always appreciate all that he has because so many others in China have so little’

The movie opens in theatres on Friday.  Will you be seeing it?

When she isn’t hurling telephones at people, Naomi Campbell is taking elevators and escalators cuz bitch doesn’t do stairs according to her former representative Carole White who said Naomi cancelled a promotional appearance for her perfume because the elevator broke down and she was required to walk up 2 flights of stairs.

The New York Post has obtained an affidavit from a lawsuit Naomi is currently facing with cosmetics firm Moodform Mission.  She is being sued for backing out of a fragrance deal with the company.  She failed to meet her obligations for the promotional aspect of the perfume including backing out of a 2000 appearance in Australia because of the stairs. According to White:

“Her failure to show was not only embarrassing, but caused friction with (the) Wella (perfume) people in Australia.”

Co-Director of Moodform Mission Chris Owen, alleges that Campbell was constantly late for meetings even tried to attack him with a bottle.  He should be a little more understanding given there were probably not any phones in the vicinity.  This shows flexibility on Naomi’s part, yes? The girl can improvise at the drop of a hat.

And of course being the misunderstood diva she is, Campbell’s people have said the lawsuit is ‘ridiculous and absurd‘.

American Idol winner Lee DeWyze appeared on David Letterman last night where he talked about the jobs he held before American Idol, the year long process being on the show was (from start to finish), what it was like to work with Simon Cowell and the upcoming American Idol tour.

In the second video he does an acoustic version of U2′s Beautiful Day.
