Carrie Underwood and her Canadian hockey player man Mike Fisher did in fact marry yesterday in an ultra private and highly secretive ceremony at the Ritz Carlton Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Ga US Magazine is reporting.

Apparently the couple rented out the entire resort to secure privacy and the wedding cost a reported $500,000. That’s still less than her engagement ring which is apparently worth $800,000. Ca-ching.

Carrie wore a Chantilly lace Monique Lhuillier gown as she married in front of their 200 guests.  The couple released a statement in which they signed it Mike & Carrie Fisher:

We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family that mean so much to us!”

You know, I originally didn’t think her hubby was up there on the hot factor but for some reason this photo of them struck a chord with me and I have to say I can totally see why Carrie can’t wipe that smile off of her face.  I can not wait to see pictures of her and her dress.  I bet she was beautiful on her wedding day.

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski said their ‘I do’s’ at the Villa D’este in Como, Italy Saturday where George Clooney and his Italian girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis attended.  According to an insider:

It was an outdoor ceremony and absolutely beautiful.”

A rep for Krasinski confirmed to Usmagazine.com,

“John and Emily were married on Saturday in a private ceremony”

The two began their relationship in November of 2008 and became engaged in August of 2009.  Prior to John, Emily dated Michael Buble from 2005 until July 2008 where they ended their relationship.

Eminem took part in Day 2 of the T In The Park Musical Festival in Balado Scotland where apparently he did 29 songs! He paid tribute to his best friend PROOF who was gunned down in Detroit, Michigan in 2006:

“I remember a time with D12 in Amsterdam, me and Proof, we were eating weed brownies. I started speaking in tongues.”

At the end of his set, Eminem thanked the fans:

“Everybody who’s an Eminem fan, I just wanna say thank you so much for the support you’ve shown over the years, for not giving up on me. I hope you enjoyed the show as much as we did tonight. Peace.”

I’m glad that Eminem is clean and sober now.  It cranks up his hotness factor and I think he’s less angry.  Have you downloaded his latest CD? Do you like?

Nicole Scherzinger and her banging body are judging the X Factor auditions in London, England where they just wrapped up the Manchester portion of the tour. The black dress that she is wearing is from Victoria Beckham’s collection. Do you like?

Although the pictures of her wearing Vicky’s dress are more recent I’m putting as the main picture Nicole in a grey dress that makes her body look delicious. So much so I am questioning my sexuality this morning because who doesn’t love starting their day all confused and stuff?

Also pictured at the auditions are Simon Cowell and Dermot O’Leary.  I have no idea who Dermot O’Leary is, but he’s kind of cute so he’s included in the post because that’s how I roll.

Simon is one busy man because in addition to attending the X Factor auditions, he was apparently at Carrie Underwood’s wedding last night and he will be visiting friend and X Factor judge Cheryl Cole in the hospital as she recovers from Malaria.

It feels like forever since I’ve done a post on Marcia Cross and usually it’s with her adorable twins.  Today though we have her pictured in LaVerne, California where she partnered up with Mott’s and KaBOOM! to encourage healthy lifestyles by building a new playground at the LeRoy Haynes Center.

Marcia has just joined the independent film Bringing Up Bobby written by Famke Janssen:

Russell Brand, Dame Helen Mirren and Luis Guzman are all on the set of the Arthur remake which is filming on the streets of New York. This remake of Dudley Moore’s 1981 version is described in imdb as:

A drunken playboy stands to lose a wealthy inheritance when he falls for a woman, his family doesn’t like

The movie also stars Jennifer Garner.

I heart Russell Brand badly but I like him better with facial hair and tight pants. The polyester grandfather pants aren’t doing it for me.
