Ryan Reynolds could smell like a jar of pickles and it would be hot. So hot, I would carry a little jar of those bad boys around just to get a whiff of him every once in a while. Ryan, who is the new face of Hugo Boss‘ scent Bottled Night wants to smell manly-like:

“I hope I smell manly! I didn’t start using aftershave until I hit puberty but the challenge is finding something representative of you. For me, it’s reclaiming a bit of masculinity, because it’s very easy these days to fall into that androgynous world. That’s what attracted me to Hugo Boss.”

Ryan loves when a woman has her own unique stench:

“I like if a woman smells distinctive. Fragrance is a signature for a woman, so right away when you meet somebody, you kind of associate that scent with that person forever. It’s more indelible than a photograph.”

Does Bologna count? Everyone loves Bologna, right?

His mom helps him along with his fashion sense:

“My mother once gave me mittens. I was 30. They were cream and had little snowflakes on.”

I would still find him hot in those mitts. Me and my jar of pickles.

Russell Brand appeared on Regis and Kelly this morning to promote his new animated film Despicable Me but he spent most of the time talking about how he met Katy Perry and goes into detail about his proposal. Now this is a man in love.

If you notice how much less body hair Russelll has, he explains on his Twitter page:

Have shaved body hair for “Arthur” I am playing him as a long, thin, new born tot.

I am about to have a medical examination and have eradicated body hair I’m like a Benjamin Button Justin Bieber.

I will say Amy Winehouse is looking mighty healthy these days and I’m not referring to the giant melons she is rocking. You can really see it in her complexion.

In these photos Amy can be seen arriving at Bungalow 8 in London with a male companion.  I’m not sure if she replaced this guy but I’m thinking regardless, she may want to get the ‘Blake’s‘ tattoo above her left chesticle lasered off.

At some point Amy purchased some cigarettes that she neatly tucked in her bra. I guess the piece of luggage she is toting around didn’t have room.

The Bachelorette’s Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski have split. I think given the track record of contestants on The Bachelor or The Bachelorette no one is surprised by this news.  Perhaps people are surprised it lasted as long as it did. Jillian told US Magazine:

“I love him and I’m really sad, but I have to look out for me”

Ed also spoke to the magazine:

“We’re both kind of resetting. Jillian isn’t happy and I’m definitely sad about the whole thing, but we’ve got to work through some things on our own if we decide to move forward.”

Early on after their engagement on the show rumours were swirling that during the filming of the show, Ed was juggling two babes back home and even slept with one of them after the engagement.  Jillian defended him and carried on appearing not to be bothered by the news.

Nothing like setting the bar real low.

Prince is not a fan of the interwebs and quite frankly dahlinks told The Mirror they are ’ova’:

The internet’s completely over. I don’t see why I should give my new music to iTunes or anyone else. They won’t pay me an advance for it and then they get angry when they can’t get it. The internet’s like MTV. At one time MTV was hip and suddenly it became outdated. Anyway, all these computers and digital gadgets are no good. They just fill your head with numbers and that can’t be good for you.”

Um, yeah.  Okay. I’m not sure how listening to my iPod fills my head with numbers but I’m guessing Prince hasn’t held one in his tiny little hands to really understand what it does.
