Singer, songwriter Mary Sarah covers Journey’s Don’t Stop Believing in Sugarland, Texas at an Idol-type competition where she placed 3rd!

And are you sitting down? She is only 14 years old! It seems like this is just the start of a promising career (although she’s been singing since she was 8 years old) as she has met with Sony Records over the last couple of days and according to her most recent Tweet:

She plays guitar too!! Susan Cooper of Buzz Edition states that Mary Sarah was recently:

gifted the song “Permanent Marker” by Taylor Swift, who also wrote the pop song. Plans are for “Permanent Marker” to be released as her first official single

Wow.  What a close group of colleagues.  True Bloods Anna Paquin, (her real-life fiance) Stephen Moyer, and Alexander Skarsgard pose nude together with hands and limbs strategically placed while covered in fake blood.

Jennifer Aniston and Juliette Lewis hug it out at the Los Angeles premiere of their movie The Switch, which also stars JustinBateman.  In addition to sharing credits in the movie, these two ladies also have something else in common.  I’ll give you a hint: Brad Pitt

WAY back in the day Juliette Lewis dated Brad but she knew the relationship would never amount to anything, and of course we knowJennifer’s history with him. Apparently the two bonded instantly on the set but didn’t discuss Brad according to Juliette:

“There’s an obvious history we share but while we didn’t share stories about Brad, we did have an instant connection and mutual affection. I love her.” “For Jennifer, being with Brad was profound as it was a marriage. For me, it was only like a high school relationship. Brad and I were on a journey together at the start of our careers. 90210′s Jessica Stroup and Dustin Milligan have split in real life after a two year relationship.  That’s not going to be awkward on the set is it? And if that isn’t awkward enough, Dustin had this to say to ET Canada:

“I, being a bachelor in Hollywood, have always tried to maintain that it would be silly for me to get tied down, just silly. So I am always keeping my options open. I am working with a lot of beautiful, talented, smart actresses all the time, so there is definitely a lot of options out there right?“

Ouch.

“(Our wedding) was exactly what we both hoped for and it turned out as planned in every way.

“We always intended for the wedding to be a private and intimate occasion and we haven’t shared any details as it’s something we’d like to keep as our special secret.”

When Joaquin Phoenix dawned the bushman look and claimed to be giving up acting for a rap career people thought he lost his mind. The jury is still out on that one, but apparently during that time he was filming a documentary of this metamorphosis and the film, I’m Still Here will premiere at this year’s Venice Film Festival and hit theatres September 10.

The official synopsis of the film:

The directorial debut of Oscar-nominated actor Casey Affleck, I’M STILL HERE is a striking portrayal of a tumultuous year in the life of internationally acclaimed actor Joaquin Phoenix.
