Two words sum up why I would go see The Expendables:  Jason Statham.  De-freaking-licious.  I love that he is smiling. While I wish it were because of moi, it is most likely due in part to his relationship with the gorgeous Rosie Huntington Whiteley.

He plays a character that goes by the name of Lee Christmas.  Seeing as Christmas is my absolute favourite time of year, I’m thinking this is the Universe’s way (and crazy stalker thinking way) of telling me that Jason and I are meant to be together, and it’s just a matter of time

Anyhoo.  This action adventure was directed and co-written by Sylvester Stallone and is about:

A team of mercenaries head to South America on a mission to overthrow a dictator.

Jason, Sylvester and Dolph Lundgren are in Paris France for the premiere.  The movie also stars Jet Li, Mickey Rourke, Eric Roberts and others.  The film opens in theatres August 13.

Has Marky Mark Wahlberg lost his mind? Nah.  It’s all in fun.  That’s MTV News’ Josh Horowitz where Mark and Will Ferrell appeared on Josh’s ‘The Knife Show‘.

Mark and Will are promoting their film The Other Guys which opens in theatres tomorrow.

Although Jerry Hall has found new love with chartered surveyor Philip Ferguson,  who makes her feel completely loved, she had always hoped  Mick Jagger (they split 11 years ago), would grow out of cheating on her:

“Well I thought that as I had helped him clean up with drug addiction, that that was part of it and that he might outgrow it.”

Despite tolerating a lot, even she reached her breaking point:

“When he had a child with someone else. That was just the last straw.

But she doesn’t seem bitter or angry at all:

“I did love Mick very much. But after years and years of being hopeful, you finally give up. Obviously I tried very, very hard. Sometimes it is better that things come to an end. I still love him very much – he’s the father of my children.”

“It was just one of those things. We met and fell in love. And love makes you do all kinds of things doesn’t it?

“Mick was just so overwhelmingly funny and charming – and humour has always been something very attractive to me.”

This woman deserves a lot of happiness and security and I hope her new man realizes how lucky he is to have her.

Julia Roberts took her Eat, Pray, Love promotional tour to her dear friend David Letterman‘s studios last night where they talked about her 3 kids, husband Danny Moder and the marathon she completed just before Christmas.

Julia is a favourite of David‘s and it’s clear to see the chemistry these two have.  It’s always a lot of fun when she’s on his show.

Notice her forehead isn’t moving Miss “I don’t believe in Botox’. Maybe it isn’t Botox. Maybe it’s Restalyne or something else. I’m not judging because if Botox makes you happy go for it. But seriously how can she say that and have zero expression in her forehead. Okay I’m over it. Not really.

Radar Online is reporting that the tabloid The Star has a story about The Bachelorette‘s Ali Fedotowsky‘s earlier partying days where she smoked pot, went on alcohol binges and even did ecstasy.

The tabloid claims Ali kept a diary that they have a copy of and one entry goes on to say:

“It was really fun at first,” Ali writes of her night of pill-popping. “I went downstairs to sleep at 4:30 and sat there until 6:30. I was completely freaking out. I really thought I was supposed to die. I really thought I would… I was so scared.”

Apparently the diary also includes letters to an ex-boyfriend that are sexually explicit and even cut out magazine letter to make a love note. According to a source:

What do you think of these claims? The Star is not  the most reputable magazine, but still, I find these claims hard to believe. Perhaps it’s true, but I just can’t see it.

Julia Roberts covers the September issue of Elle Magazine and claims she’s a Hindu and doesn’t believe in Botox:

“It’s unfortunate that we live in such a panicked, dysmorphic society where women don’t even give themselves a chance to see what they’ll look like as older persons. I want to have some idea of what I’ll look like before I start cleaning the slates. I want my kids to know when I’m pissed, when I’m happy, and when I’m confounded. Your face tells a story… and it shouldn’t be a story about your drive to the doctor’s office.“

Uh-huh.  Call me crazy, but I’m pretty sure there are many times where her forehead has been quite expressionless in recent years. Sorry, but I call bullsh*t on this claim. Her forehead hasn’t moved in years.  She goes on to say the whole family:

“chant and pray and celebrate. I’m definitely a practicing Hindu.” says Roberts.

[On possible reincarnation] “Golly, I’ve been so spoiled with my friends and family in this life,” she says. “Next time I want to be just something quiet and supporting.”

She goes on to talk about her love with her husband Danny:

“The children became the shooting stars of him, of that thing we have,” she tells Elle. “How lucky we are that we love each other so much that we burst into three pieces.

I think at this point it’s best I keep my mouth shut. Do you plan on seeing Eat, Pray, Love?
