Katy Perry is showing a lot of skin these days and covering Rolling Stone is no different.  She looks great in her bra and undies and rumour has it she’s working out very hard to look fabulous on her wedding day.  As if she wouldn’t?

In the magazine she talks about Russell Brand:

“Russell’s so sensitive and sweet…the Russell that people know from the media is not him at all,”

Despite her sexy, raunchy image, Katy has boundaries, and those boundaries extend to God:

“I am sensitive to Russell taking the Lord’s name in vain and to Lady Gaga putting a rosary in her mouth,” she says, referring to Lady Gaga’s “Alejandro” video. “I think when you put sex and spirituality in the same bottle and shake it up, bad things happen. Yes, I said I kissed a girl. But I didn’t say I kissed a girl while f-ing a crucifix.”

Hers is truly a rags to riches story:

“Sometimes we ate from the same food bank we used to feed our congregation, and I was very embarrassed by that,” she says. “We had the food-stamp moment too, but I don’t like to talk about that. I do”t want to come from the place of ‘Hey, relate to me, I use food stamps.’”

I never knew that about her beginnings!  The new issue of Rolling Stones hit the stands tomorrow.

Lady GaGa has scored a record 13 MTV Music Video Award nominations today.  She received Video of the Year nods and she’ll be up against Katy Perry and Ke$ha in the Best Female Video category. All three ladies, along with Beyonce, will also face off for Best Pop Video. Lady GaGa thanked her little monsters via Twitter:

Eminem received 8 nominations but he’s not so happy:

“Apparently MTV doesn’t care that I have two massive stadium shows on the other side of the country the day after the VMAs. F me, right?!?!,” says the rapper, who’s up for Best Male and Best Hip Hop Videos. “I mean, I’ll be there but don’t expect me to be nice about it.”

Does that mean he’s going to throw a hissy fit? Considering the MVA’s are probably around the same time each year and he does have an album out, perhaps his people could have organized his tour a bit better? I’m just saying. Please don’t hurt me Mr. Eminem.

Gawker has some great blinds up today.  The first one made me laugh. The second one made me think, ‘I wonder when that sex tape will be coming out’. And the third one disgusted me. Shame on the publicist.

Heidi Klum, hubby Seal and their kids Leni, Henry, Lou Sulola and Johan Riley are on holiday in Saint-Tropez in the South of France where everyone is smiling.  Of course they are all smiling! They are in the South of France.

I don’t mean to be Debbie Downer or anything, and maybe it’s a Saint-Tropez thing, but why isn’t anyone wearing a life vest/jacket? I noticed that about all the pictures of any celebrity who was visiting in Saint-Tropez.  I guess it doesn’t look cool? What do you think?

Russell Brand, Helen Mirren,  Luis Guzman and Greta Gerwig are in New York filming scenes for Arthur where Russell is donning a top hat.  His costumes in this movie are pretty interesting!

He looks totally fine considering he was quite shaken up by a car accident the other day. But if he needs a nurse I’m pretty sure I can locate my costume.
