After yesterday’s court appearance in which Paris Hilton pleaded guilty and got so f*cking lucky by only getting probation instead of jail, she flew off to Japan for business.

TMZ is reporting that Paris wasn’t greeted with open arms. In fact she was detained for hours and grilled like tuna. Paris‘ rep tell TMZ:

“Paris Hilton was delayed by immigration authorities at a Japanese airport this evening after arriving for business obligations planned many months earlier.  Paris was contractually bound to her business trip and didn’t want to let down her brands and many Asian fans.”

The latest is that she is detained at a Japan hotel and is not allowed to enter the country because of her guilty plea in the cocaine bust. She also pleaded guilty for obstructing justice by telling the cops it wasn’t her purse. It pays to have money to hire the best lawyers, doesn’t it?

When she arrived in Japan she Tweeted this picture of her and her sister Nicky.

Russell Brand’s latest book ‘My Booky Wook 2: This Time It’s Personal‘ is out September 30 and he reveals how he came to fall in love with fiancee Katy Perry:

“You’ll think it frivolous of me to say I knew I’d marry her on that first date, but the truth is I fell in love with her when she hit me with that bottle. Like Cupid in a riot.”

Russell goes on to explain the incident:

“Thud. Ouch. The bottle hit me right on the head and, although it was plastic, it was half full, or half empty, depending on your perspective, and it hurt.

“‘Hey, Brand!’ she cockily cawed.

“‘Come on brain, let’s go’, I thought, but my brain wasn’t working properly, I think perhaps because of the bottle. Plus my stomach felt odd. Sort of sick.

“‘Got you on the head there, huh?’ she said. ‘Kind of an easy target, it’s big and you’ve got that ridiculous hair.’ “

He teased her back about being blind because she was wearing sunglasses indoors and that she should take them off. She responded with something to the effect of being afraid to take anything off in front of him for fear of getting herpes (not that he has it but because of his womanizing ways).

Katy later put an Alexander McQueen bracelet on him and told him to keep it so it would remind him of her.  His response (and this is why I freaking love Russell Brand):

“Then, looking into her eyes, quietly I said: ‘I don’t need anything to remind me of you.’ That is how I fell in love.”

*SIGH* Is that romantic or what?

Katy had her bachelorette party this past weekend in Las Vegas so you know their wedding is just around the corner. But I have to wonder if his book comes out September 30 and he does all the promo and stuff will the wedding be before that or after that? They say they are getting married in the Fall but this is September 21 already. Uggghhh I wish I knew.

Last night in New York Halle Berry, Sofia Vergara, Lisa Edelstein, Julianne Margulies, and Jill Zarin took part in Swarovski Elements 22 Ways To Say Black where 22 black dresses by 22 different designers were auctioned off and all proceeds went to charity.

Over $100,000 was raised to benefit breast cancer research. You can view the 22 dresses that were auctioned off here.

Whether you want to admit it or not Tom Cruise has still got it. Worshipping spaceships aside, he is a really nice guy and you know he would be a great husband. Plus he’s not bad on the eyes at all.

The fact that he and his wife Katie Holmes allow daughter Suri to be their stylist is a little on the freaky side but hey whatever works, right? I’m just waiting for the day they make the formal announcement that she is their publicist/manager. You know it’s coming. And probably before her 16th birthday. Mommy and Daddy are going to totally be her bitches.

Here Tombo is on the set of Mission Impossible IV in Prague, Czech Republic. The expected release date is December 16, 2011 and will also star Jeremy Renner. Other stars rumoured to be signing on:  Maggie Q, Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Simon Pegg.

So let’s start at the beginning.  Season 11 of Dancing With The Stars seemed to start out quite nicely.  I liked the light show at the beginning (for lack of a better explanation).

My next thought when watching the show was whoa Brooke Burke’s boobs are going to explode out of her dress.  I was certain there would be a wardrobe malfunction. She looked gorgeous as always.

Audrina Patridge (partnered with Tony Dovolani) looked a bit nervous doing her cha-cha-cha but holy crap what a freaking body!! As Carrie Ann Inaba said she had big cahoney’s to do a solo dance week 1!! Her scores:  6-7-6 = 19/30

Football great Kurt Warner (partnered with Anna Trebunskaya) did the Waltz.  He was really quite good and quite graceful.  Was I the only one who noticed how BIG his hands were?  His scores:   7-5-7 19/30

Kyle Massey (partnered with Lacey Schwimmer) was OUTSTANDING I couldn’t take my eyes off of his dance. He was incredible! His scores:  8/7/8 – 23/30

Rick Fox (partnered with Cheryl Burke) was totally graceful and debonair for being so gigantic!!!..hubba freaking hubba. Eliza Dushku was in the audience which is a good thing!! Holla.   His scores: 8/7/7 22/30

Margaret Cho (partnered with Louis Van Amstel) did a Waltz and had tears before her dance.  She was pretty good, but the cape thing, although funny, wasn’t practical given this is a ballroom competition.  And we can’t overlook her ‘angry face’. However, Bruno shouldn’t have said ‘it looked like you were going to eat someone’ especially after what she admitted in the preview as to why she stopped dancing. Her scores: 5/5/5/ 15/30

Brandy (partnered with Maksim Chmerkovskiy) was  excellent. Very graceful.  Very lovely!! Her waltz earned her:  7/8/8 23/30

Bristol Palin (partnered with Mark Ballas) was so nervous but had her moments.  I think she has good potential but she’s so young and so self-conscious.  I was pretty disappointed her mother wasn’t there to see her shake her money-maker. She earned:  6/6/6 18/30

Florence Henderson (partnered with Corky Ballas) was great considering the woman is 76 years old! And holy crap does she ever have great legs.  Her cha-cha earned her 6/6/6/ 18/30.  She is a naughty minx.

Michael Bolton (partnered with Chelsie Hightower)  was a bit stiff.  He seems uncomfortable but it was nice to see him.  His score:  6/5/5 16/30

Mike Sorrentino (The Situation partnered with Karina Smirnoff) did not do bad all things considered but he’s a bit too arrogant. It was very cool that Len put him in his place.  His score:  5/5/5 15/30

Jennifer Grey (partnered with the delectable Derek Hough)  who danced the waltz to  ‘These Arms Of Mine’ is the one to beat!!! She was exceptional!!! She was graceful and elegant.   8/8/8 24/30

David Hasselhoff (partnered with Kym Johnson) wasn’t as good as I thought he would be.  One would think with all of his music background he’d have a bit more rhythm.  Good news is that no cheeseburgers were hurt during his dance routine. His score:  5/5/5 15/30.

Who knew that Julia Roberts had such nice gams? She along with daddy-to-be Javier Bardem are in Spain promoting Eat, Pray Love.

Julia was also a recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Film Festival in Spain, where Javier Bardem presented her with the Donostia Award.  She said of the honours:

“What a fortunate woman I’ve been in my life for a variety of reasons. If we were having dinner, I’d tell you all of them. But now, I’ll just say thank you from the bottom of my heart. And thank you to San Sebastian, which is the most enthusiastic town.“

Yes she has been most fortunate. It gives me hope for a lot of things in my life.  A lot. Like becoming an NBA champion. Btw, I’m 5’1″. But now I know nothing is off limits.
