It’s nice to see that Ben Affleck has finally found his smile.  Perhaps the presence of his gorgeous wife Jennifer Garner has something to do with that? Jennifer came to support her hubby at the 35th Toronto International Film Festival’s premiere of his film The Town in which he stars, co-wrote and directed.

Also showing support for her man was Jon Hamm’s longtime girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt who looked gorgeous in her beautiful blue dress.

Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively, Jeremy Renner and Rebecca Hall were also was on hand as was Canadian Twilight Star Rachel Lefevre.

Tonight’s MTV Video Music Awards has a surprise for Kanye West:  Taylor Swift has written a song about her experience with him from last year’s awards and will be performing it tonight according to the Associated Press! I thought I was excited for the VMA’s before, but now I’m squealing like the pig that I am.

If you recall Kanye West stole Taylor’s moment from her at last year’s VMA’s when she won Best Female Video by taking the mic and saying basically that Beyonce got robbed.

The song is from Taylor’s album Speak Now that is due out in October. Apparently she had a secret rehearsal on Friday for tonight’s show.

Kanye is going to be at tonight’s awards as he is presenting.  It should be interesting to see how he is received.  He’s been sending apologetic Tweets lately trying to garner sympathy from people.

Interesting how he does this just before the VMA’s, huh? I always get a chuckle out of people who think they are so clever that others can’t see through their real intentions. Methinks Kanye is just a little nervous about the reaction he will receive.

You know when Juliette Lewis is the best dressed at the party all hell is about to break loose. That’s not a put-down to her but let’s face it:  she dresses rather unconventionally.

Hilary Swank has a great body and can usually get away with just about anything but I’m not liking this dress too much and I can’t quite figure out why. I think I’m used to her in more sleek and sophisticated looks and this dress just doesn’t suit her in my opinion. Do you like it on her?

They are at the 35th Annual Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) to premiere their movie Conviction which is based  on the true story of Betty Ann Waters (played by Hilary):

A working mother puts herself through law school in an effort to represent her brother, who has been wrongfully convicted of murder and has exhausted his chances to appeal his conviction through public defenders.

That sounds like an incredible movie! Would you go see it?

Her brother is played by Sam Rockwell.

It was a who’s who of Hollywood that showed up to lend their name and support behind the Stand Up To Cancer charity event last night in Los Angeles.

The hour long show featured cameos by a ton of stars as well as performances by the likes of Stevie Wonder, Neil Diamond, Leona Lewis, Natasha Bedingfield, Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart and many more.

Stars like Christina Applegate, and Sofia Vergara that have battled cancer wore yellow shirts, while stars like Rob Lowe who lost his mother to the disease in 2003, wore white.  He paid tribute to her on his shirt with ‘In Memory Of Mom’.

Kelly Osbourne looked gorgeous at the Emmy’s and totally sexy as a Pussycat Doll but she outdoes herself yet again in this stunning outfit for Fashion Night Out in Los Angeles.

Former super models Kathy Ireland and Cheryl Tiegs attended along with Ashanti, Samuel L. Jackson and Bobby Trendy who needs to get himself a better lip liner. He’s got a little something on his face.

How adorable is that picture? Canadian cutie and very talented actress Ellen Page and the lovely and talented Liv Tyler pose together at the premiere of their movie Super at the 35th Annual Toronto International Film Festival. Ellen Page is so cute you just want to pick her up and carry her around wherever you go.

Rainn Wilson plays a caped crusader in this film that Collider describes as:

Frank (Rainn Wilson) is an average guy who transforms himself into superhero The Crimson Bolt after his wife Sarah (Liv Tyler) hooks up with a smooth-talking drug dealer, Jacques (Kevin Bacon). What Frank lacks in superpowers, he makes up for with a trusty wrench in his one-man war on crime. But every superhero needs a sidekick. Enter Libby (Ellen Page), a cute psychopath working at the local comic book store. Transforming into “Boltie”, Libby teams up with Frank to take Jacques down. From the surprising imagination of writer-director James Gunn (Slither) comes Bolt and Boltie, a crazed crime fighting duo for the XBox generation. They’re here to save the day, or at least to beat you up.
