Lindsay Lohan Is In Custody

Lindsay Lohan Is In Custody

Lindsay Lohan is in custody and may be there until October 22 according to TMZ. The surprising move happened when she showed up for her hearing because she failed two drug  tests one for cocaine and the other for Adderall and the judge decided No bail for you! TMZ also says that is shocking because the judge had to offer her bail and her offence is a misdemeanor.

Adding to the drama is her father, Michael Lohan outside of the courtroom right now spewing his toxicity and blaming everyone in Lindsay’s circle including her lawyers and her mother.  I don’t know if he blamed himself because I started watching some paint dry on my walls and found that much more fulfilling than watching that angry little man.

I had sympathy for Lindsay up until I heard about her laughing and drinking during her ‘I have a problem’ Tweets. This was coming from a witness in the restaurant she was at so you always have to take things with a grain of salt because as grandmama said:  Believe nothing of what you hear and only half of what you see.

But is locking up an addict the answer? Paris Hilton gets off, but Lindsay is jailed. Both are smug. Both seem to have egos that they truly don’t deserve to have, but that’s always the way.

Do you think Lindsay should serve time?

Donnie Wahlberg Is On The Run Filming ‘Blue Bloods’ [PHOTOS]

Donnie Wahlberg Is On The Run Filming 'Blue Bloods'

Donnie Wahlberg runs like the wind as he films scenes to his new television series Blue Bloods in New York.

The show, in its first season, stars himself, Tom Selleck, and Bridget Moynahan as the Reagan’s, a family of New York Citycops.

The cast had no problem packing the Paley Centre in New York for a Blue Bloods event where the cast appeared and answered questions. Corlando of TV Fanatic was fortunate enough to attend the event where the season premiere was aired and it is something we shouldn’t miss!

Donnie shared what it is like to film in New York City:

“Someone yelled cut and the whole scene shut down,” Wahlberg laughed.  He also shared that an elderly woman using a walker wandered into a dangerous traffic scene they were filming: “She starts yelling at me, ‘This is a free country.  Shut up and mind your own business.’  Only in New York.”

Blue Bloods premieres Friday, September 24, 2010 at 10/9 c.

It’s A Dancing With The Stars Picture Post

It's A Dancing With The Stars Picture Post

Monday marks episode 2 of Dancing With The Stars and we are sans David Hasselhoff.  Someone has to go and he really didn’t have rhythm plus his facial expressions creeped me out to the point I had to cover my eyes and scream at my husband ‘tell me when it’s over‘.

I felt bad for his partner Kym Johnson because David was all like ‘well that’s okay, life goes on‘ which is easy for him because he farts out royalty cheques, but Kym is now unemployed.  Way to try, David.

Now that I have that off my perky chest, the stars are busy practising for next week where the couples will be doing the quickstep and the jive. Pictured are:

Hugh Jackman’s Letter To Nancy Pelosi

Hugh Jackman's Letter To Nancy Pelosi

Wolverine and X-Men DILF, Hugh Jackman is one of those stars that is like everyday folk with everyday folk concerns life his children’s health. Unlike a lot of us he happens to earn millions per picture, is hot, charming, a gentleman and is quite pleased with his own member.

He has written Nancy Pelosi pleading with her that the H.R. 5504, the Improving Nutrition for America’s Children Act, is voted on and passed this month.

If Nancy had any smarts she would insist a meeting happened to, you know, ‘go over’ the letter:

The Honorable Nancy Pelosi

Office of the Speaker
H-232, United States Capitol
Washington, DC 20515

Dear Speaker Pelosi,

As a parent, I’m extremely concerned about the skyrocketing rates of obesity, diabetes, and other serious health problems we’re seeing in children today. I’m writing to ask you to take quick action to improve nutritional standards for school meals. Please ensure that H.R. 5504, the Improving Nutrition for America’s Children Act, is voted on and passed this month.

This crucial legislation would help schools serve more plant-based foods—fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes—because these foods have been shown to help children maintain a healthy weight and avoid disease. Schools should be able to purchase low-cost fruits and vegetables, and they should also have access to vegetarian entrée options.

No school should have to serve high-fat pepperoni pizza and hot dogs just because it can’t afford more healthful meals. Our children deserve better. When kids are introduced to healthy foods at an early age, they’re more likely to make healthy food choices throughout their lives.

Please do everything in your power to pass this improved child nutrition legislation. Better school lunches are critical to keeping the next generation healthy and fit.

Sincerely,

Hugh Jackman
