Knowing his penchant for all things sexual (and that is not a judgment kittens), Russell Brand probably thought he hit the mother-load when he attended the U.K. premiere of Despicable Me and the crotch-high character Minion from the film came to life to greet his man parts.

Russell is the voice of Dr. Nefario in the film that boasts an impressive cast (voices only of course as this is an animated movie) including Julie Andrews, Will Arnett, Jason Segel, and Kristen Wiig. They weren’t at the premiere but fellow voice costars Steve Carrell and Miranda Cosgrove were in attendance.

Rumours are swirling that Justin Bieber is being considered for the role of Ted in the remake of Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure a movie that originally starred Keanu Reeves as Ted and Alex Winter as Bill in 1989.

Finding a suitable dude to play Bill is the problem:

“Justin’s role in this project is a given but the movie is being held up by the task of finding the right kid to play Bill,” a source explained. “The producers are torn between casting an unknown as a lesser co-star and finding another teenage actor who can share top billing with Just’

I think Justin Bieber’s fans may be a bit young to remember that movie so here’s a clip. Do you think Justin would be good for the part? Perhaps I’m just a crusty old biotch, but I can’t see him in something like this to be honest.

Katy Perry is taking her candied bra on the road with a world tour promoting Teenage Dream.  The pop singer and soon-to-be-Mrs. Russell Brand has announced her 2011 California Dreams tour which will be complete with her extravagant outfits.

She says of the tour:

“I hope that it’s going to engage all of your senses: sight, sound, smell, taste, touch

I hope Russell Brand will be touring with her because then it will totally engage all of my senses in my fantasy world.

The tour starts in Europe hitting Portugal, England, Germany, France and Italy, but Katy assures us via Twitter not to worry, the rest of the world (although Canada is not mentioned I can’t imagine her not making it here) will also be graced by her lollipops:

Can you believe this? Of all celebrity couples, I would have thought David Cox and Courtney Arquette would have stayed together forever.  However in Hollywood 11 years is pretty much forever so it’s all kind of relative.

TMZ is reporting that the couple have been separated for months! Photos of David with another woman surfaced and apparently that is what caused the separation. He had allegedly been intimate with this woman.

But the same source said that don’t count this marriage as completely done yet and there is a real possibility they could get back together.

Ben Stiller and his original ‘Zoolander‘ days are about a decade in the past.  So I’d say that a sequel is long overdue.  We still have a bit of a wait on the release of ‘Zoolander 2‘ since it’s not slated until 2012.  But we do know that it is happening.

Mindless comedy?  Absolutely.  Give me a bunch of quirky, crazy men and a bucket of laughs and I am sold.  Cheers to ‘Zoolander 2′ coming in 2012!
