Amy Winehouse’s father Mitch performed at London’s City Burlesque last night when Amy stole the microphone and belted out a few numbers of her own.

She looks terrific.   She looks healthy and so much better without all the eyeliner but one of the photos shows that there is ‘something’ up her nose.  I don’t think it’s powder.  Probably a booger or something. Gross, I know.

After the gig her father spoke  to the Daily Mail and revealed that her six-month relationship with director Reg Traviss isn’t going so well:

Reg is great. But he’s in Scarborough all the time. She barely sees him. It’s making it really difficult for her.’

Ashley Olsen and her boyfriend, Justin Bartha (The Hangover) have been serious for two years now.  So what’s next for this hot couple?  A walk down the aisle of course!

Bartha has been spotted out shopping for the perfect rock to put on Olsen’s little finger and is planning to pop the question soon.  Hopefully he wasn’t planning on totally taking her by surprise, because my big mouth couldn’t keep a secret if I tried.  When it comes to this kind of gossip, I’m a blabber mouth!  Sorry!

Just a side note, Justin supposedly proposed to Ashley once before and she turned him down!  So I am hoping that this time around, she gives him a big, fat YES!

So here’s an early congrats to the happy couple!   Here’s to many years of wedded bliss!

Twlight Saga: Breaking Dawn isn’t going to reach the theaters for more than a year (November 11th 2011), but the casting news for the two-part film is enough to get your blood pumping.

Edward and Bella’s baby, Renesmee is going to be played by Mackenzie Foy (Flash Forward, ‘Till Death), the nine-year-old starlet.

Ingenious author, Stephenie Meyer got the honors of breaking the news on MTV News,

“Very excited about our new Renesmee, Mackenzie Foy.  She’s an amazing young actress and I’m excited to work with her. I hope everyone had an enjoyable summer!”

This is fabulous news for Mackenzie to be sure.  Her career is going to launch into full steam ahead after this.  Twihards wouldn’t care who landed the role.  They just want more, more, more!  Yes, I admit it.  I am one of those.  These have been the greatest books I’ve ever read.

Russell Brand’s latest book  Booky Wook 2:  This Time It’s Personal hit the bookshelves on September 30 and I have been dying a little inside each day not seeing pictures of him on his promotional tour.

So you can imagine the happy place I am in by seeing these photos of him doing his promotional tour that takes him to Liverpool where he greeted fans at the Waterstones Bookstore.

Then you can imagine the horror I felt when I see in two pictures Russell is kissing some fans on the lips.  One of him outside the store and one of him inside the store. I’m thinking this isn’t a good sign given he’s due to get married really soon to Katy Perry, but then I’m really thinking why aren’t I in Liverpool? Do you notice he’s wearing what looks like a wedding band? Did they already get married? See the emotional turmoil I have dealt with just doing this post?

Russell Brand Talks Chivalry, Katy & Another Woman He Loves

Russell is due to get married next month but it won’t be on November 19.  He is scheduled to appear in court in the (alleged)  paparazzi assault case.  However, he won’t be charged but he does need to make an appearance (along with the papper) to be lectured on the law.

The more I learn about Jared Leto, the more I find him extremely appealing.  It’s not just that he is quite beautiful to look at. Those eyes.  That chiseled face.  Very nice. Me likey.

The 30 Seconds To Mars front man is down-to-earth, unassuming and very real but especially so for an actor/musician. Whereas a lot of guys into music do so for the lifestyle (read parties, drugs, money) or the women, Jared isn’t so much into the groupie scene:

“Our music never dictated that. We didn’t get into a band to party and get chicks. People are more likely to come up with artwork or poems or they’ve made something like a beaded bracelet rather than… the other thing,” he said. “The other thing can also be a beautiful gift, but the music hasn’t been a throughway to that. And fortunately that hasn’t been an area that’s been lacking.”

No surprise there that that area hasn’t been lacking.  I don’t know about you, but I’m really turned on by a guy who is down-to-earth, unassuming and not arrogant. That’s huge! Having dated Cameron Diaz and Scarlett Johansson he considers himself a good boyfriend telling British Elle:

“I can be nice when I’m with someone. People are difficult creatures,” “I’m not really hung up on things. I’m very open, I like to share.”
