Canada’s So You Think You Can Dance crowned Season 3 winner last night Denys Drozdyuk as Canada’s favourite dancer and also saw a marriage proposal by dancer Claudia Primeau’s boyfriend Francis Lafrenière.  He’s a season 1 contestant and current choreographer for the show. Dude has really large cahoney’s to do that on live TV. Nothing like pressuring a girl into the decision, huh? They skipped out of the building hand in hand.

As Canada’s Favourite Dancer, Denys receives $100,000 and a 2010 Mazda2. Runner-up Amanda Cleghorn, also receives a Mazda2, and $10,000 from the newly created Top 4 fund.

Top 3 and 4 dancers, Janick Arseneau, 20, from Bathurst, N.B., and Jeff Mortensen, 22, from Edmonton also receive $5000 each.

Also included are some backstage photos of host Leah Miller as well as Mia Michaels, Tre Armstrong, Sergio Trujillo, Blake McGrath, Rex Harrington and Mary Murphy.

Russell Brand and Katy Perry released a joint statement through their representatives regarding Russell destroying my soul:

“Russell Brand and Katy Perry are overjoyed to confirm that they were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Brand on Saturday, October 23. The very private and spiritual ceremony, attended by the couples’ closest family and friends was performed by a Christian minister and long-time friend of the Hudson Family. The backdrop was the inspirational and majestic countryside of Northern India.”

According to a hotel official they wore traditional Indian clothing with Katy and her bridesmaids wearing Saris.  Also being reported (by Press Trust of India) is that  21 camels, elephants and horses formed part of the groom’s wedding procession from a nearby resort. He was also accompanied by traditional dancers and musicians. That sounds quite perfect for this couple.

When I read comments on places like Huffington Post, people are saying it won’t last. I wish the bitterness within my heart could say the same thing but something tells me these two will last.  For their sake I hope so considering they didn’t get a prenup. What do you think?

I’m on a roll here, talking about sleazy men.  Jesse James and Kat Von D are supposed to be broken up because she went running back to her precious Nikki Sixx when his divorce went through.  But apparently Jesse and Kat can’t get over each other and all the ink they share.

This colorful, former couple was caught out on a lunch date at El Compadre Mexican restaurant in West Hollywood.  They were seen in deep conversation and exchanged some kisses throughout their meal.  What’s the deal?  Are they going to remain “friends” and keep the “benefits”?  Ew, I so just threw up in my mouth.  I wish these two would get a cave, and stay in it.

Brett Favre is trying to pry his manstick out of Jenn Sterger’s lethal grip and back into his own.  His first attempt happened when he confessed to leaving voicemails on Sterger’s phone.  But he has denied the dong pics.  If all there has been were some naughty voicemails, I think that Favre would have come forward sooner.  I think he is bluffing, hoping to pay off Sterger since she’s keeping a firm grip on her Brett Favre dong photo gallery.

Let me see if I understand this:  Rihanna has time to throw Katy Perry a bachelorette party in Las Vegas.  She’s known (approximately) the date of Katy’s wedding to Russell Brand for close to a year and yet she is a NO SHOW at the wedding where she was serving as Maid (Matron) of Honour, or bridesmaid or whatever.

TMZ is reporting that according to sources Katy ‘understands’ that RiRi had to hit the studio instead of attending her wedding.

I know celebrities have professional obligations, and friends understand these things, but this seems odd to me that Rihanna couldn’t make it.  Despite India being so far away she does have the money and resources to make it the trip. What do you think?
