They say a picture is worth a thousand words and I have to say that holds true for this picture of Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez gazing lovingly at each other.  Or is that lustfully?

Either way I’m kind of surprised that they are making their ‘public’ debut together this soon.  That’s not a judgment it’s just that Halle is usually more guarded than that.  So does this mean it’s serious? One has to think so, right?

Halle wore a beautiful red Yves St. Laurent gown at the attended last night’s 32nd Carousal of Hope Ball in Los Angeles. This is a huge event that attracts a who’s who of Tinsletown.  Last night the guests enjoyed:

a sit-down, three-course dinner, Moët & Chandon champagne and wine. A live auction was held to complement a silent auction that took place in another room before the dinner began. A highlight of the evening was the auctioning of a Mercedes valued at $160,000. The car, of which there is only one in the United States, went for $170,000.

The gala benefits the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes in Denver, Colorado and has to date raised over $75 Million!!

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony attended as did Dancing With The Stars’ Maksim Chmerkovskiy looking dapper with his dance partner Brandy Norwood.  Also there was Gladys Knight who ended the evening with Midnight Train to Georgia and also revealed that she is getting her own reality show (because there aren’t enough of them I guess):

“We’re setting in motion a reality show right now,” “It’s about family. I have 17 grand kids and four great grand kids and of course my brother Bubba, who is the only one of the Pips left. Our relationship is very unusual so it’s about that.”

Now that Russell Brand has gone and shattered my ice-cold heart by marrying Katy Perry, it’s time to seek comfort in some man candy who happens to go by the name of Derek Hough.

Derek and his amazing partner Jennifer Grey are seen coming back to the studios from a break, or lunch or something.  I really look forward to their dances every week because I think they work so well together and their dances are most awesome.

DWTS – Mark Ballas Loves Jeanine Mason OR Bristol Palin?

Also seen outside the rehearsal studios were Brandy, Rick Fox and Bristol Palin.  I thought it was strange last week that the judges though Bristol did a great job in her Gorilla outfit because I thought it was her worst dance yet.  Meanwhile I thought Jennifer and Derek were amazing and I don’t think they were completely happy with theirs.

The Hills star turned The City star, Whitney Port had a couple of shocking confessions to make.  First off, she’s never eaten pasta!  Say wha?!  How can any person on this earth not ever eat pasta?  I think I’d go in to a deep depression without a dose of lasagna or fettucini alfredo now and again.

Secondly, Whitney confessed that she used to essentially starve herself, eating only 1,000 calories a day!  You want to see a crabby hag?  Give me only 1,000 calories a day and you’ll get yours!

It’s no real mystery as to why Whitney was starving herself,

“Working in Hollywood, there’s just a constant pressure to look your best.  For all of us who are on TV, it’s natural to be like, “I have to stare at myself all the time, I want to look the best I can.”  ”It’s hard to have that balance of wanting to look good but stay healthy,’ she said. ‘It’s push/pull.  I’ve monitored what I’ve put in my mouth. Eating 1,000 calories a day is as bad as its ever gotten, which isn’t healthy”

Whitney is 5′ 10″ tall and still only weighs 112 pounds.  I think that’s too skinny.  Whit needs to eat a giant bowl of spaghetti, stat!

It’s official!  Our favorite California Gurl and sexy, dirty Brit have tied the knot!  Katy Perry and Russell Brand had their Indian wedding today.

The intimate, traditional wedding took place in front of about 80 guests at the luxury Aman-i-Khas resort near the Ranthambhore tiger sanctuary in Rajasthan.  This is where Russell proposed to Katy back in December.

I personally can’t wait to see all of the photos.  This was a traditional Indian wedding, so I naturally have no idea what that really entails.  I love that they didn’t put on a freak show like so many people expected that they would.  They left the crazies for their performances on stage and let the wedding be a beautiful representation of their love.  Perfection.

Desperate Housewives’ Marcia Cross took Savannah and Eden to Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in West Hollywood to pick their pumpkins for Halloween. The girls are getting so big!! With both parents being tall, they will be tall girls for sure. They are adorable aren’t they?

See the little vampires to the left of her hanging up?  I love those!! They are adorable.  I happen to be (finally) reading Breaking Dawn and the thought of being a vampire is most appealing! You don’t have to eat, you don’t gain weight, you don’t need sleep and if you’re a Cullen you can drive really awesome cars! What’s there not to like? If you learn to control your ‘thirst’ like they do, humans don’t have to be harmed (not that it’s okay with animals, but you get my point?).
