Emmy Rossum met Counting Crows frontman, Adam Duritz through Twitter.  I had no idea.  They have been a couple for about a year, but have called it quits.  In fact, they split up about two months ago.  Surprisingly, there are no sour grapes between these two as Emmy told USA Today,

I wonder if the age difference (22 years) played a part in their relationship not working out?  Was Adam not a very good sugar daddy?  I think that Emmy should hook up with a younger guy now, either that or just stay single for a bit.  She’s so young, only 24 and to have been divorced already…. not a good thing.  She needs some “girl time” to re-evaluate life.  That’s my awesome opinion.

Suddenly it feels like hump day and it has everything to do with Jared Leto being shirtless in these teaser trailers for Thirty Seconds To Mars‘ upcoming Hurricane short. Why I believe there is a mini hurricane going on in my panties right now. WHAT??? Did I just write that??

There is good teasing and then there is bad teasing. I think this is a bit of both but it’s great marketing because it is totally building up anticipation and whets our appetite with just enough to start with the visualization of Jared sans clothes. Or is that just me?

The second teaser trailer (below) is entitled ‘Introducing The Telephone’ and it is nowhere near as nice as the first video. In fact it may make your skin crawl a bit. You’ve been warned.

Tokio Hotel’s Bill and Tom Kaulitz are the latest celebrities throwing themselves into a PETA campaign with their poster protesting circus animals.

The poster is in their native language of German so I have no clue what it specifically says other than the protest against circus animals.

I know a circus is entertainment and education for kids, but to get a wild animal to ‘cooperate’ in an environment like that, the measures are quite cruel. If you don’t believe me head on over to the PETA site where you can see some pretty horrific video and coverage.

Well, if I had an appetite at all, it’s gone now.  WTH?  Ugly Betty star, Michael L. Brea has been taken into custody for brutally murdering his mother with a 3 foot long Samurai sword.  He was allegedly screaming out passages from the Bible when it all went down.

When the authorities arrived to the scene at 2:20 AM, Brea was clutching the bible when they tasered and took him into custody.  He is now being guarded by police as he undergoes a psychiatric evaluation.

This is straight out of a horror film and hate scary movies!

On Location: Ugly Betty

Cops say the scene was “extremely bloody.”  Yeah, I can imagine, only I don’t want to.

A neighbor told WPIX 11,

“I hear the brother chasing her [his mother] through the house and he’s just saying a bunch of [Bible] passages like, ‘Repent, Repent, Repent.’  I heard him chasing her through the house and I hear a loud scream and so I have my father call the cops, call 911.”

Freaky!  Thank God Brea will be in the NYPD hands as soon as the docs are finished evaluating him.
