Lindsay Lohan has been given the thumbs up by Betty Ford and her probation officer to hit the road again.  Her privileges had been revoked thanks to all of her “criminal activities.”

This is a great sign of Lindsay’s progress at Betty Ford.  She’s kept her head in the “game” and it’s obviously paying off.  Perhaps her first drive will be to the supermarket to pick up food for her Thanksgiving meal with her father, Michael Lohan.

Speaking of that, there is still no sign of Dina Lohan folding and actually participating in the holiday with her daughter and ex-husband.  I just hope Lindsay gets to spend her Christmas in NYC with her mom and siblings.

Not wanting to skip college just because she’s an accomplished actress and singer, iCarly’s Miranda Cosgrove is putting in her time, studying for her SAT and ACT exams that she’ll be taking next month.  It’s a very hectic schedule right now for her,

“I’m freaking out about it a little bit,” Miranda said.

I would be too!  I thrive on a bit of chaos, but Miranda is going all out!  She’s got her eyes on USC and is going to put in the work to get there.  When she’s not studying this week, she’ll be riding  a float in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.  I love this parade!  I have watched it every year since I was a little girl.

Security for Dancing With The Stars has been ‘measurably heightened‘ amidst death threats to both Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas because Bristol is in the final 3 of the season.

They were receiving death threats last week after making it to the final 3 and executives at the studio told Mark to stop tweeting, and he did.

If these two win, rather than head to Times Square for an interview (as is standard practice for the winner) they will be doing their interview from a studio.  According to TMZ:

“Everyone is genuinely worried.  This is a dance competition, and it’s just gotten crazy.”

I don’t think many people are happy that Bristol is in the final 3, and everyone is certainly entitled to their opinion, but to make death threats, I mean come on how do people take this show THAT seriously? It’s a dance show for heaven’s sake.

Bristol received a ‘fan’ letter  that contained white powder last week.  Although it was only talcum powder, the FBI are now involved. There are a lot of nut jobs in this world, aren’t there?

The ratings for this show are going to go through the roof in the next two days. Will you be watching? Who do you hope will win?

Rolling Stone Magazine hosted an after party for last night 2010 American Music Awards where a lot of last night’s attendees stopped by including the very cute J.C. Chasez of NSYNC.

I’m not sure what the hell Keisha is wearing. Think Loch Ness meets Barney. I trust that’s a hat that resembles hair and not her own haircut. I’d be looking for a refund if that were my hair.

Tila Tequila has gone back to the dark side although I’m not sure she ever left it.

Katy Perry and her husband Russell Brand attended the after-party where it doesn’t look like Russell cracked a smile or take his hands out of his pockets. Could it be he’s upset his wife didn’t win any awards, or was he just plain bored by the whole evening? When they were sitting in the audience at the AMAs they hardly touched (at least when the camera was on them).

Justin Bieber was the big winner at last night’s 2010 American Music Awards picking up 4 awards and making history as being the youngest ever to receive Artist of The Year. During the acceptance speech for that award he asked his mentor Usher to come up on stage with him:

“I really was embraced by a man named Usher Raymond. It would be only right if I invited him up here to share it with me.”

You can really see the love and admiration between these two. Bieber referred to him not only as his best friend but his big brother.

I have to say that most of last night’s performances seemed horrible. Was it the sound system or just that a lot of singers aren’t that good live? Pink’s voice was good as was Christina Aguilera’s and Bon Jovi’s, but the majority seemed to be struggling.

New Kids On The Block and the Backstreet Boys closed the show with their first public collaboration ahead of their joint tour that they are about to embark on.
