Today, Norah Jones releases Featuring, an album of the multi-platinum selling, multi-Grammy Award winning singer’s musical collaborations from the past decade.  The 18 songs on the album include duets with 21st century icons OutKast, Q-Tip, and Talib Kweli.

These collaborations reveal Norah’s musical versatility from jazz to country, hip hop to rock. She says of the album:

Steven Fenton proposed to Leeza Gibbons back in June, but they have kept it under wraps until now.  He popped the question in the front yard of their new house, just before they moved in,

“He was on one knee and I was on Cloud 9!” Gibbons says. “I have a ring but we decided that I won’t wear it until we have a private exchange of vows.  In the beginning, the age thing tripped me up for a minute,” she says. “I believe in love and I always held onto the belief that I would find it again but I didn’t think it would come in the form of Steven.”

They met on a blind date two years ago and they’ve got a 13 year age difference between them.  What does Steven do for a living?  Why he’s the President of the Beverly Hills Board of Education, sounds like fun!

They aren’t in a rush to set a date,

“We’ll know when the time is right … Steven knew he wasn’t just marrying me, he was marrying into a family that included my kids,” says Gibbons, who has three children from two previous marriages. “Our energy is the same and we connect through our desire to love our families and friends, serve our communities and make a difference.”

That’s really sweet…. but, maybe they should just skip the vows and keep things as they are.  I mean, three times down the aisle?  I think that’s too much.  But hey, the saying, ‘third times the charm’ didn’t come from no where.

New BFF’s Cher and Christina Aguilera celebrated the world premiere of Burlesque at the Grauman’s Chinese theatre in Los Angeles last night. The movie took $55 million to make and marks Christina Aguilera’s big screen debut. Christina talks about Burlesque for women:

“I have a collection of burlesque books at home that I’ve had for years,” she said. “I’ve always been intrigued and fascinated with the topic, the beauty, and the art of it. I think it’s a really empowering thing for women.”

She also talked about the bond she and Cher have:

“She gave me so much advice, both personally and professionally. She didn’t even have to open her mouth.

“She is just such an incredible presence and person. Been there and done everything before any of us came along. I admire and respect that truly.”

The movie also stars Stanley Tucci, Cam Gigandet, Kristen Bell (not at the premiere from what I can see), Eric Dane, Julianne Hough and Peter Gallagher.

Ryan Seacrest came out to support girlfriend Julianne although I couldn’t for the life of me find a picture of the two posing together.

New mom Rebecca Gayheart also came out to support her hunk of a husband Eric Dane.

Russell Brand visited Regis and Kelly yesterday where he showed off his wedding band and said:

“I like being married, it’s very relaxing.“

He also cleared up the rumours of his giving his wife Katy Perry a tiger for a wedding present:

“I would never do that; exchange animals,”

As to whether there were any camels in attendance:

“There were not, it was just mostly friends and family,” “If I knew any camels, I would have invited them.”

I’m not sure why Christina Aguilera is holding a loaf of Pumpkin bread in one of the photos during her acceptance speech for receiving a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame, but it is Hollywood after all, and I’m certain there is a very logical explanation for it. And if I weren’t such a lazy biotch I’d actually look into it. I’m pretty sure she didn’t bring a snack.

Christina Aguilera Sexes Up Her ‘Royal Desire’ Ad [VIDEO]

Christina received the 2,423rd star and is next to Greta Garbo! Not too bad, huh? Her movie Burlesque opens in theatres November 24. We’ll have pictures of that premiere coming up shortly.

Also pictured with Christina is her mom and brother. She looks really happy, doesn’t she? She may be fairly young to receive a star (in comparison to the average age of recipients) but she’s had a pretty incredible career and she will continue to do so.

Prince Charles’ Clarence House has officially announced that Prince William and Kate Middleton are to be married:

“The Prince of Wales is delighted to announce the engagement of Prince William to Miss Catherine Middleton. The wedding will take place in the spring or summer of 2011 in London,” the statement read. “Further details will be announced in due course.”

This is big royal news! Who doesn’t love a royal wedding? The engagement is said to have taken place last month on a trip to Kenya. The two have dated on and off again for approximately 7 years after they had met and were roommates at St. Andrew’s University in Scotland.

Kate is the daughter of self-made millionaires and is said to have received the royal stamp of approval. Thank goodness because you can only imagine the hell she would go through if she weren’t ‘approved’. It makes it sound like a piece of grade A beef or something, no?

The statement also said that:

“Prince William has informed the queen and other close members of his family,” the Clarence House statement said. “Prince William has also sought the permission of Miss Middleton’s father.”

After the wedding, the royal couple will:

“live in north Wales, where Prince William will continue to serve with the Royal Air Force.”

I feel for this girl. The paparazzi are going to be hounding her endlessly from now on, but she does seem to be able to take it all in stride. Maybe someone should give her a taser so if they get too close she can zap them.
