Jane Lynch and Perez Hilton were among a star studded crowd at the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Centers 39th Anniversary Gala held at Hyatt Regency Century Plaza.  Could this be an opportunity for Perez to sneak into an episode of Glee?

Oksana Grigorieva is in every other headline and has been for months since the tapes of Mel Gibson going insane on her came out.  It’s not that I don’t take the situation seriously, I am just so sick of hearing about it.  Can’t they speed up this process already?

So, since it’s out there, we might as well talk about it.  Ugh.  Oksana has been talking with Camille Hayes, the Membership & Communications Coordinator for California Partnership to End Domestic Violence.  The group wanted to help Oksana and now she wants to help them reach out to battered women, as well as help lobby Sacramento legislators.

Oksana and one of her many lawyers have been talking about what sort of a role she can play in the organization.  Nothing is down pat yet, but you know that Oksana is going to go all the way with this one.  How good will this be in court?

Jessica Simpson has her own happy news and that is that she is engaged to her boyfriend since May, Eric Johnson. Eric proposed on Thursday which was just days after the announcement that Jessica’s ex-husband Nick Lachey and his longtime girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo were engaged. Jessica and Nick were married for three years and split in 2005.

Of course the rumours were swirling that Jessica was heartbroken which were not true (she’s long over his ass). US Weekly broke the news when on Saturday:

Simpson flashed a sizable ring on her left hand during an appearance at Dillard’s at Oak Park Mall in Kansas City.

Her rep has confirmed the news:

“Yes, we are excited to confirm that they are engaged!”

Jessica has been criticised for being in love with being in love and that she falls in love with every man she dates. I hope this works out for her and she finds the happiness she needs in life.

I hope Jessica isn’t so over-the-moon in love that she forgets one very important thing:  Pre-nup!!

I wonder how Robert Pattinson felt when he first saw his love, Kristen Stewart doing a lap dance for James Gandolfini in ‘Welcome to the Rileys‘?

This indie flick looks pretty heavy, with Stewart being a young, underaged stripper with an obviously messed up life.  Gandolfini tries to save her with his wife trying to refuse.

“I went to a strip club with the director and the costume designer and it being an odd grouping of people going into a strip club in the middle of the afternoon, I was, like, straight-up offered a job.  I pole-danced for two weeks.  I had bruises all over my legs… it hurts!”

I will definitely watch this one.  I really liked Kristen in The Runaways and Adventureland.  She’s great as Bella Swan of course, but seeing her in gritty roles is somehow refreshing.
