Keep a Child Alive (KCA) to launch DIGITAL DEATH campaign on December 1st to raise 1 million for those affected by HIV/AIDS.
New York, NY (November 30, 2010) ñKeep a Child Aliveís (KCA) co-founders Leigh Blake and Alicia Keys announced today the launch of the DIGITAL DEATH campaign as part of KCAís larger fundraising effort BUY LIFE. Both campaigns were developed by TBWAChiatDay New York.
On Wednesday December 1st, World AIDS Day, Alicia Keys, Lady Gaga, Kim Karadashian, Ryan Seacrest, Jay Sean, Swizz Beatz, Serena Williams, Sarah Brown, The Buried Life, Elijah Wood, Janelle Monae, Kimberly Cole, Daphne Guinness and Bronson Pelletier will end their digital lives and sign off from all social networking platforms including Twitter and Facebook in solidarity for those in Africa & India affected by HIV/AIDS. The participating celebrities will not come back online until 1 million has been collectively raised for KCA.
