Paris Hilton’s ex-boy toy, Doug Reinhardt has a very humanitarian side.  Who knew?!  He’s laid off the booze and partying to train for a showdown with nightlife tastemaker Jeff Ader at the Fight for Humanity event at Cipriani Wall Street in NYC on December 10.

It’s a great cause that benefits the Somaly Mam Foundation which works to eradicate human trafficking, liberate its victims, and empower survivors.

Doug and Ultimate Fighting Champion Marco Ruas have been training two times a day, six days a week, which I believe proves just how much Doug’s heart is into this event.

“I will fight however possible to end the global issue of human trafficking,” Doug tells Life & Style. “It’s a fight worth winning.”

I couldn’t agree with you more and I appreciate all the celebs who pitch in for a great cause like this one.  If all of them did stuff like this, regularly, imagine the changes we could see.
