Demi Lovato is still on the mend, in a rehab center, trying to get her life back in order.  Part of that recovery was settling with the girl she decked while on tour with the Jonas Brothers in October.

Alex Welch got some serious cash from Demi, but they are keeping the numbers confidential.  That tells me it was a pretty large amount.  I haven’t decided if I think it’s okay that Alex took the money.  I don’t know… it just seems shady.  But, that’s the way the world works anymore, so we will move on and let Demi do the same.

Alex’s lawyer Donald Karpel, told TMZ,

“The parties are satisfied and the dispute has been resolved amicably and completely.”

That’s a great thing for Demi.  She can now put that drama behind her and continue her treatment.  Good luck to you girl and Happy Holidays!
